Been looking for a good brand of External HD din. Buti nalang I saw this thread. It looks like maganda yung seagate. Aside from this brand ano pa ok?

ano gamit nyong anti-virus/anti-spyware for your external HDD? eto kasing external HDD na infect ng trojan and I had to reformat it and now I want to install something for protection against trojans.

my external HD is WD na 1TB with wifi.. i bought this sa US last Aug.it cost me around 180 dollars. my hubby and i thought about this talaga when we bought this one kasi our purpose naman is to have it connected sa IP phone so that ma momonitor namin yung toddler namin with the yaya pag wala kami sa haus at nasa office.  na praning kasi kami dun sa vid going around na tinatadyakan ng yaya yung alaga niya eh. better cautious...

i have a WD 320GB which i got free when i bought my laptop at silicon valley. tag says it's 3,240 (if i remember correctly).

last week bumili ako ng seagate external hd 320gb sa hub park square. 3600 ang price.

I have the 1TB WD. Bought mine from Hk mga Hk$ 1,800 din. pero sulit kasi lahat  save ko dun. =)

bought seagate 320gb at  gigahertz in sm manila for P3.6k

I got a WD 320GB Passport Elite External HD. It cost me $120, I bought it when it first came out(I got a coupon for it) and 320GB was the biggest capacity storage available for Passport Elite Portables HD. Now, you can get 320GB for $50 bec there are more bigger storage for passport portable HD and it's 1TB.

Also got a WD My Book 1.5TB Home Edition External Hard drive for $135. My 320GB is already full that is why I bought this 1.5TB. Gusto ko sana yung 1TB portable hard drive ng WD but there are complains with the connections that's why I bought the My Book HD. The downside with WD My Book Hard Drive is that it needs a power outlet to power it up, not like the portable ones. You plug it in and you're good to go.

yup, Seagate din preferred brand ko. we bought ours sa Complink ata yun, 1TB for 6k+.

^ Hi sis, i bought a seagate portable hard drive - 500GB nabili ko 5K sa Complink. Share ko lang, kung nasa park square ka at nag canvass ka, ma-notice mo na pinakamura mag presyo ang Complink (most of the time ha. hehe. cartridge kasi sa electroworld pinakamura pero that's off topic na  ).

your PC should have antivirus, like kaspersky or USB Disk Security , which instantly scans inserted USB
