^wellmansons sa quiapo is the best store to start with.  Complete, properly arranged ang mga items & aircon pa so maski mapatagal ka.

I think Butingting and the next store selling beads (forgot the name) beside it is ok din although it has no aircon. The items are sorted out in a way but it has no labels compared to Wellmanson's so one have to butingting talaga. However, it seems that some of the items are really cheaper since most items are sold wholesale. I just went there yesterday and most teenagers are hooked to the different bear and heart pendants.
I'm still looking for cameos and earring base. Meron sa Butingting but "stud" not the circular base with holes.

yes sis, sa qiapo marami gawa na tlaga cya , magaganda naman mga designs . capital is dpendi naman yon sa dami mo gusto i start na ibenta. 5k yong 1st na capital ko but hindi cya ganun talaga ka dami.mabenta pa naman ngyon kasi mag dec. na, gudluck sis

may nakita akong earrings sa divi before.. as in yung mga may design na pahaba (hindi young mga buttons lang or simpleng na gawa), 40 pesos for 6 pairs. ang mura diba?

minsan maganda talaga yung gumawa ng sarili niyong mga accessories the problem there is limited yung quantity na magagawa mo.. and hindi siya good for mass production or baka gusto mong kalyohin na yung kamay mo or something...

kung may time constraint ka at [textspeak!] mo lang gawing business i suggest buy and sell na lang ang gawin niyo... pwede naman pag may binili ka medyo i-alter mo to fit your taste and creativity. pero if you're just at home with ample time to spare sempre nothing beats the original diba?

i like this business too. it's my hobby to make my own jewelry and flattering too that my friends ask me where i get what i'm wearing. kaso, i'm not a salesperson. i'm thinking nga of selling online pero u need to market din kahit online.

mga sis, how do u do pricing on costume jewelry? we know naman na cheap [textspeak!] materials from divi unless of course ur adding precious beads...

usually 100% ang profit margin ng ganitong business. kase hindi naman lahat nung items mo maididispose agad-agad.

i just started this biz. 10.5k capital ko including fare/misc and yung stand na pinagawa ko.  4 weeks pa lang pero  7k na nabawi ko. madami pa akong stocks more than half pa.

medyo mabagal pero ok naman. tiyagaan lang lalo na sa mga makukulit na studyante. saka dapat updated ka sa uso.

jhena, it depends on your target market ... and what products do you want to sell... make a plan first...=) i try to give suggestions as possible...=) it is not easy as you need to pour your money out of your pocket as investments...

for those na mag-uumpisa pa lang, i recommend buying the pliers, cutters etc. na made in korea. im not sure kung meron pa rin sa wellmanson. nagsupply sa kanila friend ko dati. nasa 200 plus each. red mga handles. mine lasted for around 4 years na so far. compared to the ones na made in china, a few months pa lang, kalawang na or sira na yung handle, better investment to.

nagpadala kami ng mga korean accessories before dito, as in kahon kahon, catch lang nga, assorted mga laman and u do not really know how many pieces of each design are inside. siguro mga not in fashion na sa kanila, binebenta nalang in bulk. karamihan ang gaganda pa. i was able to sell some for more than 500 pesos each. yung ibang set, above 1k. puhunan? karamihan around 100-200 pesos or less even.

i just went to wellmanson early morning, they don't have the pliers that you mentioned... the only available is with blue handle..it costs around P125 (ata)...it is from taiwan... i used our own imported pliers(which we sell the pliers).  it is wise to use the better tools in order to have a good quality of your products... i love my own wire cutter because it has lots of cut edges to use it... mahirap kasi gamitin ng cheap pliers .. grabe...ilan days palang..sira na..hay..hehe..buti na lang i didn't buy it... i got it from workshops... hehe..

i see...pero until now, do you sell it ba, sis ms. rain?!   kasi ako eh maarte pag pili ng mga raw materials..i want high quality eh... and simple design para pwede magamit sa iba... 

I realize it is hard to be in business especially if you are a beginner..but i don't lose hope yet... i try to think positve..hehe

By the way,  where do you buy the swarovski crystals and fresh water pearls?!
