i'm thinking of buying the guitar hero world tour from a shop in virra mall. just passed by this am, and it's priced at P11,500. i wanna bring sana my wii, so i can test, or they can see first, if the game is compatible with mine.

Php11,500?! What store? Is that the COMPLETE BAND GAME (i.e. Guitar, Mic, Drums)?! If so, then you got yourself a value, sister!

Make sure the drumsticks are located with a cymbal and microphone.

If your Wii is US version (i.e. 110 volts), then I'm sure it'll work. Mine is US and I bought my GH: World Tour from DataBlitz which works just great. Most sellers here are giving out the US version.

I got my son a Nintendo Wii last Christmas at greenhills...US version not modified at Php16k...cheapest that I got...

krock, last time I checked, Rock Band is 11-12K and Rock Band 2 around 15K in DataBlitz. These are the complete set already.

Speaking of DataBlitz, angeleyes, it's worth every penny, believe me. You can also try buying in Celtex (2nd floor, Theatre Mall, Greenhills). I'm playing Guitar Hero World Tour and gonna soon buy some new songs to download for it too.

^^ You can just pack the stuff in a bag, say it's yours (which is true). As long as they're not in their original package, I'm sure it'll get past customs with no hassle.

Similar to a cellphone load or GCash. You get Wii points and you spend it online through the Nintendo WiFi Channel on the Wii.

Games, Channels, Downloadable Contents, etc. can cost from 500 to 1000 Wii Points.

Sorry, heaven_scent102, I'm not really much of a fan about a modified Wii since you might not be able to go to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Channel which, IMHO, ruins 3/4 of the fun. It usually updates your Wii automatically when connected and might not be chummy-chummy with the modified parts and eventually turn your Wii into a very expensive paperweight.
