hi, sis. minimum wager mga caregivers but depende kung sang province ka.

elo mga sis. im a newbie here. im plannng to take up caregiver course as a req in canadian embasy. me employer n ako [textspeak!] ate ko n nasa quebec canada. ask ko lang malaki b ang chance pag meron n employer at sister ko p? and one more thing..mejo mahina kc pandinig ko actually im using a hearing aid. ndi b magiging hadlang ang pandinig ko mga dadaanan ko pang mga tests at intervw s embasy? ive heard n wala namang discrimination s canada kaya susubukan ko at sana mabigyan ako consideration despite of it. pls help i need ur opinions b4 ako magstart magaral. thanks so much mga sisters..

^ hi, sis! as long as your employer meets the requirements, then it's all good. Kung may employer ka kasi, Sis, it's better kesa kung dadaan ka pa ng agency which is sobrang mahal. Last time I heard, they charge like US$3,000. Yung iba naloloko pa. During my time, Speak test was written on the screen, and you only have to answer it through a headset. Now, I'm not sure how it's done. And be sure that your school is truly accredited by the embassy para hindi sayang oras mo.

^yes, sis. kailangan kasi yun kasi considered as high school grad yun dito.

hi guys..i felt relieved after reading your messages.. i submitted my requirements sept 6 tapos 2 days after ibinalik kasi kulang ng pirma. nakakatawa.. then nasubmit ko ulit sept. 13.. may dumating na letter dated sept 16 [textspeak!] AOR pero nareciv nmin 1st week ng october. then tumawag sakin mama ko, may dumating ng letter sa employer ko at nanghihingi ng requirements. 2months binibigay for submission.. ibig ba sabihin nito naverify na info ko? RN ako pero walang hospital experience...
sana matuloy din ako..

depende kung nasan ka. sa pinas ka ba o nasa canada na?  ano ka dito sa canada?  if you're under the live-in caregiver program and you want to be a nurse here--go upgrade.  or take the exam.    you can't work as a nurse here agad.  meron akong kaibigan, she's a nurse sa pinas but she qualifies for a care-aide dito.

depende sa province.  if it's vancouver, $8, serving 4members of the family.  mas mataas sa toronto.

yes. the 72 units earned in college dyan  is equivalent to highschool nila dito

meron daw.  but you have to see.
usually kasi yung mga kinukuha from philippines eh yung mga may kamag anak dito. o di naman kaya'y may mga kamag anak na sila mismo ang naghanap ng amo para sa kamag anak nila na nasa pinas.
because a foreigner won't get a live-incaregiver sa pilipinas dahil sa tagal ng proseso--it'll take years.  kaya ang kinukuha nila is yung mga domestic helper rom HK, singapore, dubai, etc. dahil 3-7mos lang ang processing.

the question was, why get a LIC na pinay from pinas when you can get a LIC na pinay from other countrues at mas mabilis pa ang processing.
also, watch out for placement fees.  nirereimburse ng amo ang mga nagastos. pero hindi yung 'placement fee' na siningil ng sobra sa iyo ng agency. be wary of that.
