I need to research kung pano kumuha ng caregiver. Me and my cousin had a conversation online last night and made an agreement. Kukunin ko syang caregiver, ako ang bahala sa gagastusin including airfare pero half lang ang sweldo (kasi di ko afford magbayad ng full).

Tanong ko lang, allowed ba syang let's say tumanggap ng baby sitting jobs while "working" for me?

^sis, kung hindi kasama sa contract na aalagaan niya yung let's say, baby mo, hindi puede, pero pwedeng under the table, madami din naman gumagawa nun eh, hindi lang yung lantaran syempre.

^hi, sis. i'm done with all the process, i received my visa already and im leaving the country anytime soon, tita ko sponsor hehe. anyway, i submitted my documents last june 2007, received an acknowledgment letter july last year, received my letter for speak this may, had my speak test last june, received my letter for medical 2 weeks after the speak test, and got my visa last aug 16.. . .

Hay buti ka pa tapos na sa pag aantay.  I read something sa Application Kit for Live-in Caregiver that there is a need to obtain an exit permit from POEA before you can proceed to Canada to work.  Pano ba to?  is there some sort of a seminar you have to attend to?

^yung pre-departure orientation seminar (PDOS) ng POEA yan sis, may babayaran tayong 7k. hindi na natapos mga babayaran. hay naku! you have to bring your contract yata para maverify pa nila.

^ swerte mo naman, kasi may ibang employer na ang gusto yung nag WORK ka talaga sa isang nursing home. Taka nga ako kasi naghahanap sila ng working experience, mostly naman dito sa Pinas na nag-aral ng caregiver ay puro OJT lang ang ginawa, wala naman talagang Nursing Homes dito, kung meron man eh yun puro volunteer lang tayo di ba.

Mga sis question. Kc i read sa application form ko na I also need to pass my COE from my current employer and other documents ..."not limited to SSS/PhiliHealth rceipts.." What does this mean? Di ko kc magets e. Ano pa bang need na dokumento aside from my diplomas, certificates, NBI Clearance, pictures, COE...?

^sis, anong stage ka na ba ng process?for speak ka na ba? kung speak sis, nakaindicate naman dun na related sa caregiving yung coe na ipapass.. pero ako kasi dati nung nagsubmit ako ng reqts, yung coe ko sa callcenter na pinasukan ko dati yung pinass ko.

--tita ko kasi employer ko sis kaya hindi masyadong hehe. chaka, live-in caregiving lang yung pinag-aralan namin sa school nun, basically, home-based lang sis.
