my husband has submitted his papers for visa application last september after receiving his certificate of acceptance in quebec. how long will it take for the next step? according to them 12-18 mos, ganon katagal?

      dati nag inquire ako sa embassy via email, sinagot naman ako. parehas din daw yung processing time kahit bound to quebec.  i launched my application sa embassy ng december 2006, tapos october 15, 2007 i received the instructions for speak test.

     I have a friend, also bound for quebec, while me alberta(hopefully), we do have the    same  procedure and timeline..but with quebec applicants,,they only have CAQ instead of the LMO, which will be given by the HRDC from CIC.

panu po yung passport at nbi na pinaforward ng embassy,,pwede pa bo sa dropbox or for pick up ng courier?

ako nun, i just used the drop box at the basement of rcbc. i don't know if there's a change in the procedure now.

Hello sa inyo...

May itatanong lang sana ako kung pwede. Kasi yun pinsan ko, nun time na nag-aral sya ng caregiving course hindi pa requirement ang OJT. Kaso nabalitaan namin na required na yata ngayon? Ang ginawa nya, kinuha nya ito para walang problema at matatapos na sya this Friday (December 14). Yun papers na sinumbit nya before ay hindi minention ang OJT kasi nga wala pa sya noon dati. Even noong nag-speak test sya, hindi nya sinabi doon sa "additional form" na kelangang fill-up-an na on-going ang OJT nya... 

Anyway, naka-receive sya ng letter na for medical na sya at ang date sa letter ay Nov 22. Pinapag-update din sya ng documents (NBI and passport).

Ang question ko, paano kaya ang magandang gawin? Ipadala pa kaya nya yun OJT information nya sa Embassy as part ng update sa documents - bale kasabay ng pagsu-submit ng NBI at passport? OR wag na muna at pag hiningi na lang?

Yun question ni kaibigan ay isa rin sa maraming tanong ko, drop box ba kelangan yun mga documents or dadalin sa pagpapa-medical?

Sa Friday plan ng pinsan ko magpa-medical. Ginamot muna kasi nya ang UTI nya eh. Baka sa Nationwide sya magpunta, sabi kasi ng iba ok daw doon.. Anong documents mo ang pi-pick-up-in ng courier at hindi pwedeng i-drop box? yun NBI at passport?

 yung passport and nbi lang pina forward..yun nga picked up by their courier. tawag ka sa call center and they will give you schedule if when is the possible time they can pick up your docs.
I had my OJT too..

what's the difference between a certificate in caregiver NC and Live-in caregiver course? If my lolo's going to be my employer, what course should I take? And does it really need to be full time?

im a new member here... nagssearch kc ako ng forum ng mga caregivers, and im glad i found one. i have a bunch of questions kc...

im an undergrad of bs nursing, out of 212 units, 72 n lang kulang ko.. nagkasakit kc ako last 2006 kaya di ko natapos... actually, the real deal is that i hated my school so much, hindi ako nagaaral, i just go there to see my friends. so i stopped studying, i decided to do some soul searching (naks!) then ayun, i decided i want to finish my studies na.. pero im scared na bumalik agad sa nursing kaya i enrolled in a caregiver training school... by feb this year tapos na ako ng professional caregiver, and im just wondering if anyone hre could advice me what to do next? im planning to go to canada kaso lang live in caregiver program dun [textspeak!]? and honestly, i really want to finish my nursing degree, but maybe i could work muna so i could support my studies in the future.. pls help po... thank u so much!!!

  Hi!! sabi mo nga you really want to finish your studies di ba??That's a good idea!! because if you will work first, then you will enjoy your work, the benefits of working?? then later on, sasabihin mo, why do i still have to study when im working already?? better make up your mind.

   NC cert is given by tesda after taking the TESDA  exam after finishing your caregiver course..if your lolo is your employer going to canada? the same thing, you still have to take caregiver course which is one of the requirements under the Live in Caregiver Program of Canda. And it should have to be full time.

how did you get a working visa without the speak test? speak test is part of the whole process to get a working visa..hmmm ..

yes you havta go to poea as soon as you have ur visa, you must get an exit permit for you to be able to leave phils..

nway, could somebody please share with me a sample letter to renew a working permit for caregivers..tnx..

   Hi mga sisses newbe ako dito pwedi magtanong finish din ako as
 a caregiver tapos na din ako sa ojt ask ko lang sana if my pwueding
 mapasokan dito sa atin sa pinas as acaregiver even matanda or bata
 naboboaring na kasi ako dito sa hause ayuko naman ng ibang trabaho
 gusto ko kasi kung ano pinag aralan ko iyon ganon din ang work.......
 kasi kilangan ko ng experience eh,baka sakali soon makapag abroad din
 ako..stay out sana kasi may asawa ako eh,my alam po ba kayo?help
 naman po kung sino ang may alam...dito po ako sa makati nakatira

hi tanong koh lang po san po ba akoh pwede maghanap ng employer for canada? kung pwede po sana direct hindi na mag agency kasi po wala po akong money pang placement eh..  Atsaka newly grad and newly board passer po akoh as a nurse eh wala po kasing mapasukang hospital dito eh kaya magbabakasakali akoh sa canada.. siguro naman po papasa akong care giver... kelangan ko pa din po bang mag ielts at speak test??
