laey is right iba na talaga now.  Hindi na Philippine GAAP, Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) na which is the same as IFRS din naman.   For audit theory its Philippine Standards in Auditing (PSA).

Sissies, baka may idea kayo kung pwede kayang mag take ng exam for CPA kung nasa Qatar? Di ko kasi sure for CPA pero i have a friend na nagexam for mech engineer sa UAE naman siya.. San kaya ako pwede mag inquire? Kung pwede rin na may kasamang review..

^Yeah audit pa din, pero tumigil ako ng 1 year. After ko nga umalis non, wala na talaga akong balak bumalik, kahit yung mga old files ko, di ko na kinuha, for reference ba sana. Ayaw mo na ba sa audit? hehe

hi mga sis, hope u can still remember me, i was the one who was posting here about my CPA review life, hehe, i was reviewing then. Now, im a CPA na, yey, thank God i passed the boards last october, yipee! however, my current work right now is in internal audit, fulfilling naman, less stress than external audit. hehe!

sis laey, ay ako ganun din gaya-gaya lang. Don't like eh ayoko gumagawa ng something na d ko naiintindahan.. At ang hirap pag sobrang hi-tech ng system ng cliente d ko ma gets.  Haha   D ko makita ang trail.  I like yung mano-mano lang tipong mga foundations, NGOs, trading/retail etc.  Pag manufacturing wala na lost na ako. Haha

may sis ba tayo dito na may experience sa cruise ship?  any idea how to apply or the possibility of getting hired?  ano ba requirements nila?  kasi i heard it's paying  thrice or 4 times pa compared ng pay dito sa manila.. true ba kaya ito? tia.

I need the help of my fellow accountants here=) I will be handling accounts payable soon. What are the usual things we need to be aware of before paying the suppliers/creditors?  This is to avoid mistakes on payment.  So there must be a tax invoice right? Is it also a must that for every tax invoice there must be a Purchase Order (PO) attached?

Correct me if im wrong, we can't pay the suppliers if they just provide us the statement not the invoice?

Sis, does the company you are with have an accounting system or a manual perhaps?! Check on it I'm sure internal control measures are there which will help the employees in carrying out their duties. My tip would be to know the terms and take advantage of discounts if in case suppliers offer such for prompt payment.

as additional info dapat alam mo din kung ilang percentage ng withholding tax ang dapat mo deduct at para di ka mahirapan upon payment issue kn din ng withholding tax cert pero kung vol [textspeak!] ang issuance mo puede na ang quarterly.
