pag mag MA ng sped/early childhood kailangan ba na meron nung 18 units na pang teacher? or kahit na business course pwede ka mag masters?

i want to study kasi sana early childhood kasi i love kids and teaching.  and if i take up sped, am i allowed to teach nadin kahit hindi special children. yun mga sa preschool lang?

^as far as i know kailangan mo kumuha ng educ units and new curriculum ngayon is 30 units na po..lalo na kung early childhood education, you really need to take educ units po

malayo sakin pnu eh so i am thinking sa UP nalang.. parang ang tagal na nun 30 units nho? actually dati i applied na sa isang preschool even without educ units. kaso they want to put me sa ibang branch eh medyo nalayuan ako. so hindi ko tinuloy.

so im forced to sign up for sat classes instead.

Sis qtcuddlymwah, and PNU meron silang online classes kung gusto mo magMA. Ako nga yung ibang subjects ko online although siyempre iba pa rin yung traditional class.

^hmm... sounds very interesting.  balak ko kasi talagang mag-turo din ng english pero siguro kuha muna ko ng educ units then tesol.

that's a good idea sis. TESOL, I think, is cheaper than TOEFL, but also widely accepted.

I would love to go into teaching after I graduate this sem. Yun nga lang, 'di ko pa sigurado kung saan ko talaga gusto magturo--grade school, hs o college.

Also undecided on whether to pursue MA o 'yung 30 units (30 units na ba talaga??) for LET. Magdesisyon nalang ako pagkatapos ko masigurado kung alin ang tuturuuan ko.

Ano raw ba ang dahilan kung bakit naging 30 ang dating 18 units na kailangan for LET? Halos katumbas na 'yan ng number ng units ng MA a.

Sis what do you mean by this? So OK lang ba na hindi ako enrol sa CTP in order to teach in college?

hmm..as far as i know you need to have ctp units in order to teach in whatever school,college or university..lalo na kapag non-educ graduate

and if your planning to teach college students, you must have MA units..
unless your a board topnotcher, graduated magna cumlaude and immediately hired by your alma mater,so you may start teaching but then you will be asked to pursue your studies for MA or MS degree
