hi everyone... graduate ako ng educ pero parang ayaw ko din munang magturo sobrang liit kasi ng salary ng mga teachers.  im just being practical at saka pamilyadong tao na ako e.  it's a very fulfilling job though lalo na kapag nakikita mo yung improvement ng mga estudyante mo... twice a year na ngayon ang LET, april and august... when it comes to school, mas maganda sa PNU.  mataas ang passing rate ng mga educ students dun e.....

my husband is also a teacher. medyo maliit nga sahod ng teacher

actually nasasayangan nga ako sa husband ko kasi he has 2 degrees:
ECE & Electrical Engineer.  and sadly hinde niya masyadong na capitalize yun to his advanatage, in terms of salary wise.  to think na 2nd placer cia sa board ng ECE ng board exam cia. 

Minsan pagbumabalik mga students niya for a visit, he is very proud kasi he is in a way part of his students success, pero nanghihinayang din cia kasi kung sa industry siya nagconcentrate baka daw siguro ngayon successfull na rin siya and we have better life.

Nung newly grad pa lang cia he was offered by smart, pero dahil he felt meron siyang utang na loob sa school nila, kasi school ang nagpaaral sa kanya ng second course niya, he decline the offer, ngayon medyo nag ee...ewan...

but dept head na rin naman cia pero mas mataas pa siguro sahod ng call center agents sa kanya..title lang sa kanya...

mga sis, san bang private school/college high-paying ang salary for their profs? my friend is currently a communications prof in UP (for almost three years na), tapos na din niya MA niya. ang baba kasi talaga ng rate for profs sa UP (can't be helped, I know) so she's looking into transferring to another school kasi pamilyado na. impressive naman CV niya so I'm sure madali lang siya maka-apply. please PM me na lang if you know of any openings, preferrably QC area. thanks!

Ask ko lang, kunwari 18 units palang ang dapat na macomplete sa CTP. Kasama na ba sa 18 units yung practicum or hindi pa? Mga ilang units ba yung practicum? And kelangan magpracticum muna bago mag-exam ng LET diba? Thanks.

18 units di kasama yung practicum.
you dont need to take the practicum before you take LET. ang impt, tapos yung 18 units. you need to take the LET this year, kasi kung hindi, madadagdagan yung required units you have to take before taking LET. lam ko effective na next year yun.

Unfortunately, kakastart ko palang and six units palang kinukuha ko. So maaabutan ako nung dagdag na units.

I was wondering if you can help me out, im interested in getting a TESL diploma. But with all the schools out there, I'm a bit confused on which school I should choose.

Is there like a particular credential I need to look for to verify if that school is legit? For those who had their diplomas, where did you study? can you recommend a good school (near makati)?

nasa Vietnam ako mga sis. i'm teaching ESL. i don't earn that much but then again i've only been here for a month and i don't have a certificate. AB communication graduate ako, pero 3 units lang teaching strategies ko. they accepted me without any certificate/diploma.
