sis, anong company yon? Tsaka is the 8K for one month na yon or 15days lang? hehe, umasa ba naman!) Sis, meron nag email sa kin consultant for online english teacher, pm ko sayo contact info nya. Puntahan mo sis tapos balitaan mo ko, kasi sa June pa ako mag aapply e, sabi kasi nya sa email nya part time daw can earn from 15K-30K, babakasyon muna me sa summer.

TESOL stands for Teaching English as a Second Language. The course will train you how to go about teaching students na hindi English ang primary language nila, like mga Koreans, Chinese, Thai etc etc.
Super fun siya! Nag take ako nun sa ECI Language Institute diyan lang sa corner ng Buendia and Makati Ave. Mga 1 and half months siya, 4 hours M-F.
Yung isang friend ko naman nag take siya ng TESOL sa La Salle sa Angelo King ata.

actually nabasa ko lang yun TESOL thing sa isang magazine. yun author dating housewife and then na decide niya kumuha ng TESOL then now she's tutoring Korean kids English. Kaya naisip ko nun kumuha rin kasi daming Koreans dito sa Makati and Ortigas! They really go here to study English.

Sis Tekla,yun company ko naman before dito sa Makati. Compensation wise...maliit! hahaha starting mga 12k+ full time, meron din part time pero di ko alam yun rate. M-F tapos pili ka kung gusto mo ng 5AM-2PM or 2PM- 11PM na shift. Compared sa mga call centers, mas ok naman yun time, hindi graveyard. very fulfilling talaga and kakatuwa yun mga Koreans. Tuturuan mo both kids and businessmen. sa umpisa riot, pero masaya sa huli.

Im a finance graduate in ateneo de davao, worked in chamber of commerce , but my wish was granted i work as a pre school teacher here in UAE .. i want to go back to school , kuha ako ng units sa educ majors and some child psychology , pero gusto ko talaga ng special education, nag work ako here as part time mga 2 days lang, it was very challenging and draining mag turo ng special kids . if time will permit me to go back to school

in demand daw ang teachers ngayon sa abroad ah. kaso i have no info kung saan puwedeng mag-apply.

di ako makapagdecide kung gusto ko ipursue ang pagtuturo/pagtrain. nasa call center ako ngayon, at enjoy akong tumulong sa newbies. nag-apply ako as online teacher at sobrang gusto nila ko kunin. natuwa din ako kasi mukhang maganda yung company, pero due to personal reasons, nagdecline muna ko.

I believe if you'd like to teach high school english, the standard requirement of most schools is that you should have passed the LET (licensure exam for teachers). You may need to get education units. There are a lot of universities that offer certificate courses for those who did not take a baccalaureate in education but would like to take the LET exam. Check out the course offered at the UP Open university or DLSU teacher certificate program.

18 units of education subjects lang ang kailangan para makapagturo ng high school kung my undergrad kana. Sa UP College of Education sa Diliman may checklist sila ng mga subjects na pagpipilian.

I took up 18 units of education but didnt take the board exam after I graduated from college. Nagturo na ako sa college, high school, elementary and even pre-school. I find it really fulfilling, besides the fact that i get a different high in teaching. I love my elementary students [textspeak!] kahit na makulit sila, they would show genuine emotions. My background helped since i went back to the corporate world and i would be incharge of training employees and even the company officials on how to use newly developed or acquired softwares.

I believe that one has to have the passion for teaching to be an effective teacher... it takes a lot of guts to teach, but once you get the hang of it, the fulfillment will take you on a different level

Hi sis Khayman...I "was" also a college instructor sa engineering..and sometimes nakakinis, lalo pat math lahat natuturo ko...So now,I am looking for engineering jobs, sayang naman ang license ko...
Too bad, medyo tinali na ako ng skul to teach again...and nahihirapan talaga ako..kaya nga dapat before start of classes, may new job na ako..believe me its not really financially rewarding although okay naman ang mga studes...Minsan lang talaga high blood, di nkakaintindi at kitang kita na walang ka effort effort....

pero how is the environment naman for teachers abroad? nagka-bias na ko sa mga american students sa movies...walang respeto sa teachers at rebels sila
