mga sis how's the balloon arrangement seminars you've attended? any reccommendations? it's my aunt's hobby kasi, though i wanna help her find a good seminar that will help her learn more about it so that she can do it part time...and para na rin she can decorate on my daughter's 1st birthday hehe...please share your suggestions...thanks!

since merong mga theme, you are using cartoon characters, do you get licenses for that? royalty fee for that? or you just download [textspeak!] mga pictures/images that you use for the tarp, invitations?

i would like to venture in this kind of business pero i was thinking of that. the licenses.

kasi i saw te bag tag in megamall saying na licensed sila ng disney to use the images of disney characters so i was thinking dapat ba ganun.

hello po.. i've been making invitations and birthday tarps and i've been using logos and characters all the time. nasabihan na ko dati nung friend ko na art student na i should avoid doing that. syempre ndi ko naman pinansin. hehe. pero i started thinking about it nung nagpagawa kami cake sa aristocrat and we requested for a high school musical cake, and sabi nila hindi sila authorized to sell HSM designs. wow. ganun pala yun. yung right way. so now, kapag may nagpapagawa tarp, as much as possible hindi na ko naglalagay ng character. sinasabi ko na lang din na ok na din yun puro face at pics na bata yung makikita para balang araw pwede ba gawing design ng bahay yung tarp. sa invi mahirap  lang humindi kase depende sa gusto magpagawa e..

any takes on this? copyright laws?

buti hindi naqueuqestion ang mga nasa party business na walang copyright. marami kasi diba sa divisoria na gumagawa ng tarp, invitation na merong characters

^ actually seasonal talaga itong business na 'to. kahit sabihin na everyday naman may nagbbirthday, di naman lahat naghahanda. and of course, not everyone's willing na gumastos these days. depende na lang siguro kung yung pwesto mo, daanan ng tao at talagang you'll make way para maging catchy... minsan nasa marketing strategies din yan.

im planning to start up this biz since may space pa dun malapit sa biz ng parents ko. small lang siya parang kiosk. i know i can get stuff sa divi pero i dont know what things to get. can u make me a list. tips din how to start it.

plus kung meron mga party needs sa south area na pwede ko maki-tie up re: party services (balloons, carts) baka ok lang sa inyo maki tie up with me, im tapping a small community kaya mas ok kung outsourced yung ibang services.

hi there. ganda ang discussions! hubby and i were planning to put up biz like this, kaya lang start muna kami sa 1st birthday ng baby namin if ok ang kalalabasan.. hehe..

we are planning na na buy chairs and kiddie sets, marunong na din kmi gawa ng invitations and about the stuffs bibili nalng kami sa divi for our childs bday,then saka na namin plan kung paano gawin..

my question is... paano ba ang tarpaulin printing, i can do the lay-out the problem is paano ipaprint and how much will be the cost... please advise!

my sister is into cake business. nag uumpisa pa lang sya. sa house lang namin yung pwesto nya. i am thinking to have a joint venture with her. gusto ko sana mag start ng maliit na party needs/event organizing business.
i am thinking of buying stuff sa Divisoria this coming weekend. Siguro konti konting party hats, piñata, pabitin, give-aways ang bibilhin ko. sana maging okay...

i agree with sis mommybear, those who already started this biz, baka pwede maki-share pano magstart like inventories, basic items, how much % dapat ang ilagay for each item, etc. thanks po.

we are also interested in partnering with party planners and etc. We are in the printing business producing invitation cards, flyers, and etc.

Maybe we can start an affiliate arrangement where you can help sell our printed products on a commission basis or you can add your markup.
