our car's name is "cobalt" although the color is black  suggested by my 6year old nephew....

our 19-year-old car's name's teddy. and our friends know him, too, and will say "hey, that's teddy!" or "i saw teddy the other day at blah-blah. why were you there?" hehe, with his, as someone described it once, whimsical blue hue, he's become pretty popular among our relatives, friends and acquaintance

teddy had a girlfriend before, a newer car my dad used to drive. we called her blanche and she's like the sleek, city girl while teddy has become the rugged country boy (kami na kasi ng sister ko "nag-aalaga," eh pareho kaming burara ) she's gone now, so teddy's free to have crushes on pink cars (which we honk at everytime we see one  )

update: teddy has retired and will be used mostly in tagaytay once we get him there (the air-conditioner's busted, so we figured, at least it's not needed there since the air's already cold outside). we have a new car named... scarlet! (and, yes, because of the color, hehe)

this thread got me thinking to name my car. it's a bit old na but i got it barely 2 yrs ago only. i'm thinking of a name na sunod sa plate number. any suggestions? the plate is DKU ***.

My brother and I named our brand new ford fiesta "AYA"
We got it from the anime Blood+. And its also because I somehow look like the main character from that series.

^^ @ms G. I think you have to take into consideration the color or model of the car if youre thinking of giving it a name.
Or perhaps just give it a name you really like, or cant live without.
