->By never forgetting or neglecting yourself. ;D Love and Respect yourself, take care of your appearance. It will spark his desires.
->Always Communicate. Its the key to a good relationship.
->When both of your are fighting wait for both of you to be calm. Listen and respect him dont argue in front of other people.
->Do or Plan something new. Like going someplace for a trip. Quality time with each other. If you have kids, leave the kids with someone or with the nanny.
->Have fun together. Tease or Joke each other, humor really helps in a relationship it enleaven things up. So, dont forget to laugh! Play, give surprises, watch movies, date! ;D
->Know each other, talk and dont loose the child within you. Because when you turn gray and old, you will still have your best friend to talk with. ;D

Relationships involve unconditional love and trust.  What makes a relationship not so interesting anymore is when there's too much doubting, useless anxieties and the effects of it - you begin to nag or fight over small things or generally become more suspicious and therefore, you become "unloveable" (if there's such a word). This applies to both men and women actually.

The problem with men is we have to much pride.  The problem with women is they have what is called "woman's instinct".  Somewhere in between is called compromise.

.. very well said, very objective... if only persons involve in a relationship knows the real meaning of compromise, maybe we can lessen the chance of putting any relationship in jeopardy.

i have been married for over 10 years now and we are both over 35.  i think we can keep our relationship with our men more interesting by always being supportive of each other in whatever we choose to do.  and constantly communicate or discuss about interesting things, like our kids, what happened at work , even tv shows.  also, constantly touching each other (not the touching you are thinking), you know, the holding hands thing, and all the stuff. me, i always prepare his coffee.  small things really matter.....and always make the most out of the time you spend together :)

it's been eight years...we are still full of love and excitement as ever! it's simply growing together that does it instead of growing apart!

i like what you said... we're three years together and still so much inlove with each other. he's not just my hubby but my bestfriend and we enjoy being together... kulitan pa rin kami and laging kwentuhan. we still go out on dates. i've learned to watch basketball and boxing as well as he does watch telenovelas too because of me. we support each other.  we pray together. love, communication, respect, understanding should alwyas be there. and love yourself and stay young at heart!

whew! it seems like some of what my hubby and I do are already here... yabang e no?
hhhmmm... what could I add up?
*try to enjoy the same hobby I guess? kasi kami we have a saltwater aquarium e, and we both enjoy it. tapos he taught me how to play billiards, kaya ayun, minsan naghahabulan kami sa scores. hehe...(dito lang naman sa bahay)
*never be afraid to say what you want to say, kahit pa makakasakit yan, sabi nga nila, truth hurts, para malaman din nya ang kamalian nya.
*never sleep without settling any arguments or fights, we made it a promise and it works for us.
*always say goodmorning, kiss, say I love you, and goodnight, 'coz you'll never know what could happen next, literally, like baka may bangungutin sa inyo(knock on wood), at least you were able to do that before "leaving" di ba?
*act like a child paminsan minsan, hindi naman as in bata, yung magpapa lambing ka ng konti, magtatampo, mga ganun, like in our case, I'm 22 and he's 35.
*everynight, we make it a point to sleep together, unless hindi na namin kayang mghintay kasi antok na antok na kami, tapos gusto ko pa dikit na dikit ako sa kanya.
*wait a minute, tungkol na sa routine namin 'to ah! what the heck am I thinkin'?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Here's a formula that's worked for me and for most of my friends.

Hope I can word this right, but it goes something like: "Make your guy feel that he's got you, but not totally."  That makes him "fight" for your interest everytime because there's the thought that you are NOT his possession.  You're with him as a partner/wife and not as a slave, after all.

But don't overdo it, otherwise he'll leave you, hahaha. Greener pastures.

And there's my two cents!

i don't know if being in a long distance helped in keeping our relationship interesting, but so far, after 4 years in a long distance relationship, we still manage to make everything exciting aside from the fact that we're almost 9 years together (including our first anniv as hubby and wifey this july). for me, there is no formula to keeping a relationship interesting and exciting. the quality of the relationship depends on the parties involved. being spontaneous is just a factor. but you also need the right timing for everything at all times. well, i guess one thing that really helped in surviving a long distance relationship is the fact that absence makes the heart grow fonder-->>heart meaning everything from missing him to missing what he does in hehe. abstinence for almost a year will surely make everything exciting after the long wait!
