Mods' Recommendation: OPERA Web Browser -- any users?

^i tried that but it goes to the bottom of the window. i want is sana to just be below the address bar toolbar but still be on the top part of the window.

Wala pong "Address bar" sa view tab saka toolbar ko..

Try Ctrl+F8, lets see if it works on you

^customize mo yung toolbars mo then tick the box ng address bar. baka hindi lang naka check.

been using Opera for several months now and i really really like it, especially the wand thing so i wont hafta key in my passwords all the  time, its really much better than ie and other browsers... i think everyone should use opera.

Like your mobile phone's keypad, Opera gives you quick access to 9 of your favorite sites. Just drag a link from your bookmarks or personal bar and drop into speed dial box. Opera will create a thumbnail of the webpage. Click on a speed dial "button" (thumbnail) and off you go

Opening a New Tab (Ctrl+N) brings up the speed dial page. If you don't like to use Speed Dial, you can turn it off by a mouse-click. Henceforth, New Tab will open a blank page.

I find it especially useful when moderating. I temporarily bookmark different pages of the forum on the Speed Dial page. Usually, I one for PM, the admin center, the mods' private forum, the memberlist, the archives, and some other boards I happen to moderate. Speed dial assignments are easily changed. Just click on the close button [X] on the thumbnail to remove it. Drag another link to replace it.

Try it and tell us how you find Speed Dial.

i just switched from Firefox to Opera .. i noticed kasi na mas malakas kumain ng pc resources yung Firefox ..

..i kinda like the SpeedDial of Opera ..

I may have unpleasant news about the latest Opera version.

There has been a significant increase in CPU usage since I upgraded to 9.20, Windows Task Manager reports up to 50% for Opera!

The browser's response to keypresses has slowed down a great deal, for example. Maybe it's just me, but I am considering to reinstall the beta release to compare CPU usages between the two.

This just happened today, a day after upgrading. I've restarted my PC several times but  my system seems to be at the verge of a heart attack whenever I use Opera 9.20

what i dont like in this version, i can't use the Alt+F+C command in closing tabs. nawala yung "close" kakainis.

hindi kasi ako palagamit ng mouse, and as long as i know the keyboard shortcuts, that's what i use. now, napipilitan ako to use ctrl+F4 to close tabs, pero i still prefer to use the Alt+F+C command.

wala talagang fix  pag nag-load yung isang sa Opera right? sa Opera na me problem? kasi minsa [textspeak!] pantay-pantay text and images  on some site ..

how come i get errors when i try to use gmail  sa opera? di ako makapag send and receive.

I use Opera for Linux.I don't like using it,mas ginagamit ko pa yung Konqueror.Nagffreeze kasi yung femalenetwork kapag umabot na siya ng 80 MB memory dun sa system monitor.

She, have you entered the port numbers correctly? POP server = 995 (with TLS), SMTP = 587 (also with TLS).

There's an issue with multiple Gmail accounts. You can only associate one Gmail account with your Opera.

I guess its my network that's causing the problem. I soo love opera pa naman. I switched back to ie7 na lang. may tabs din naman.
