Mods' Recommendation: OPERA Web Browser -- any users?

napansin ko lang nung nag IE ako, i can't edit "custom title" in my GT profile pero when i used opera, i was able to change it. bakit kaya?

Hi princess_alys, just in time. A member PM'ed me about that issue with IE.

It's the way browsers render CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). As you know, Opera, Firefox and Netscape are more standards-compliant than Internet Explorer. Users of these browsers do not have trouble editing their profiles.

Actually, the Change Profile button is there, but in IE, it is pushed out of the viewing area.

Anyway, I pointed the member to this topic, hoping she'll agree to switch to another browser

is the list of Transfers  (yung mga downloads) sa Transfers Tab safe to delete na?  my list has gone so mahaba na that i want to delete them na eh.  pwede na ba idelete pag donwloaded na?   

You can safely delete the list of Transfers after the downloads are complete. When you hit Delete Private Data (from the Tools menu), the entries are removed.

Just an update. The latest release of the Opera Browser is version 9.10 Beta (Build 8653).

To upgrade your software: http://www.filehippo.com/download_opera/

On the setup menu, choose Upgrade to install over existing version and retain your user settings.

^Sa Opera ba sis? Ganun talaga, hindi daw supported ang Opera browser . Pero you can still open your Yahoo mail. Try mo, pag lumabas yung 'logging in', click mo yung nasa baba na 'trouble logging in?' tapos click mo yung 'open using original yahoo mail'.

Sis bugs, thank you thank you sa pagaadvertise ng Opera browser! Grabe, nagloloko tong firefox ko at di makapaglogin sa yahoo mail, ngayon pwede na using opera. Wiiiiih!!!

May tanong po ako.. pano pag accidentally natanggal ko yung pinagttypean mismo nung address? Yung example "http://www.sajdhkaa.com" Pano po babalik yun?

firefox eats more resources than opera. its better than launching IE. IE uses more resources than opera. although opera rides on IE for internet configs

Wala pong "Address bar" sa view tab saka toolbar ko..

question, how do i rearrange my toolbars? dati kasi, yung tab bar ko, nasa baba ng address bar. i had my laptop reconfigured. then when i reinstalled opera, nasa taas na ng address bar yung position niya. i'm trying to drag it pero hindi ata pwede. is there a way para mapagswitch ko sila ng position?

nanotice ko kasi na nagsslow down yung firefox ko lately and as posted ng ibang sis dito, resource hog pala siya. so i think i'm gonna use opera again. pero mas comfortable kasi ako na nasa baba yung tab bar...hehe sorry, maarte.
