automatic or manual

I choose the automatic because I don't have to worry about hanging, and it's much easier to drive in stop and go traffic.  Then again, I don't like that I can't jump start such a car and have to use jumper cables.

not necessarily, but it's an advantage that you know how to drive a manual because it's a lot easier when you shift to automatic.

CVT - continuously variable transmission

it's just a different kind of transmission. mas effective ang gear ratio niya kasi hindi discrete making the car more fuel efficient.

it is slowly replacing automatic transmissions in some vehicles.

yon lang alam ko. though i drive a cvt vehicle.
