automatic or manual

Its actually preference, neither one is better. 

Manual is more fuel efficient.

Safer to drive, about the same.  but you have to be more skilled driving a manual.  so id say safer goes to automatic.

if it comes down to preference i choose manual over matic. before i wished that i was driving an automatic especially noong bago pa lang ako nagdadrive and namamatayan ako ng makina sa singitan. but then maybe due to learning how to drive defensively and aggressively (the likes of the jeepeney and bus drivers of commonwealth ave) over the course of few a months, ok na ang manual!

Manual ako kasi masmalakas komunsumo ng fuel ang automatic, masmatas ang rebolusyon kasi nito. Maselan sya, di pwede pahila kung di gagamitan ng "mini wheels"(yung kinakabit sa gulong ng sasakyan mo, kung nasaan ang drive pag being towed

Ako din I drive a manual car but prefer automatic because of heavy traffic here in Manila. Tapos I have to drive to Makati (my office) all the way from Marikina 5 times a week kaya nakakapagod sobra pag traffic lalo na pag hanging.

ang automatic kasi ang daling i-drive, hindi katulad ng manual, na shift ka ng shift ng gear. pero kung magaaral ka pa lang, you better start learning to drive manually para pag automatic ang car mo, mani-mani na lang

im all about convenience, convenience and hehe. with all the hassle and bustle sa environment ko, i just wanna drive smoooooth... and park in any position without breaking a sweat. much as i love the feel of the engine going when i drive manual, i still prefer automatic.

yung Opel namin dati meron ding Drive 1 at Drive 2. Can't remember which is which, pero yung isang Drive is for city driving nag-shi-shift sya hanggang high gear. Yung isang Drive pag uphill like pa-Tagaytay o Baguio, so hanggang 2nd gear lang ata, basa low gear lang sya. Pag uphill kasi kailangan mo low gear lang lagi.

right sis.. yung D1 & [textspeak!] are use for uphill and downhill, pag pababa ka ng baguio pwede kang D1 or [textspeak!] lang prang naka engine break lang engine mo so your speed is always at low pra di ka gamit ng gamit ng breaks kasi nakakasunog ng break pad yung always use of breaks esp when going downhill.

I still go for both.. depende sa ride ang place to go.

I drive a manual car, mejo bagong driver p lang ako kaya minsan nattrauma ako kase sometimes i forget to do the basics.. kainis nga eh!! how stupid of me talaga! pero for a new driver, better to start with MT car, pag namaster mo na MT, chicken n lang AT!

true yan sis.. agree ako. my huuby taught me sa manual muna. nung naka drive na ko from Makati to QC, at malakas na loob ko.. he then taught me sa A/t, ayun chicken lang..

 dapat pag mag-aaral ng driving sa umpisa, better to start with a manual car para madali nalang pag automatic ang car mo.

bago me nagka-car, nagdriving lesson me..using manual...pero yung car ko automatic. mas ok i-drive ang automatic...lalo na kapag traffic. pero ok din manual..lao na kapag yung mag-o0overtake ka, kasi sa automatic hihintayin mo pang bumilis bago ka mag-overtake. i choose automatic, kasi di pa rin talaga ako magaling sa manual...5 hours palang me nakakapg-drive ng manual...iyon ay nung driving lesson ko. lagi pa akong namamatayan ng makina. pagdating naman sa gas, mastipid ang manual.
