What I would do with P1 million

1 million let's see.. budgeting skills get to work..

i'd probably pay all my debts first.. so it would be cleared..

then put downpayment for a house which i can pay every month from then on...

then try to put up some small business...

then if there's some left i will deposit in the bank and buy some stuffs for my family and friends.. or treat them to a trip somewhere in the philippines..

i'd splurge and travel a lot!   the rest i'd put to good use by putting up a business and donating to charity.

Invest most of it after paying outstanding debts.  Continue living on my income and add to investments as time goes by.  I want to have a passive stream of income when I grow old or when I get sick and can no longer work and support my son's needs.  1 million can't buy the house that I want (kung full payment ha) kaya, I will buy a house through financing....

i'll buy a house, a car, cellphones... condo unit... i'll go shopping... all the things that money can buy... since bigay lang naman siya enjoy ko nalang... syempre with my family...

1M pesos is not that big. It wont even pay much on our housing loan. But since its only given to me lang naman, I'll just give 10% of it to the small churches(as thanksgiving), divide 100,000 pesos depending on how many churches there are. And the rest put it in the bank.

Now if its $1M dollars or (L) pounds...(hmmm...rubbing hands together), i'll give 10% sa church as thanksgiving.
->Pay our mortgage.
->Buy 2 new good cars, not really a dream car but for our use.
->Buy hubby his dream car which is the 1967 E-Type Jaguar.
->Give some to parents and sis.
->Invest some in a good stock.
->Have a trip with the family.
and if there is still left, do a little shopping, pamper ourselves to spas, salons and massage, new gadgets (PC, cellphones, notebook etc) and put the rest in the bank as savings. Ohhh...how I wish!!!!

the rest pang furnish ng new house namin.
i'll buy a 46" sony lcd BRAVIA V-series- for the entertainment room & bibili ako ng mga apple IMAC pc mga 4 or 5
tig isa isa kami ng mga anak ko & my hubby at isa para sa library.

Is it tax free? Because if it's not - you get to enjoy P650k only he he. Unless you're a tax evader......

Can we change the amount? Decades ago, P1 Million was a lot of money.  Now, you couldn't even buy a Fortuner with it.
