Hello!

Anyone here read any Nicholas Sparks novels?
I almost read half of all his novels.
I do not know why I keep reading his book eventhough
the theme of it is always sad love stories.
But I have always like to read his novels for you
can read and feel the both sexes feelings and insight about love.
He also likes to make the setting of the story in a remote and simple community.

How about you girl talkers, what can you say about his novels?
Which are those have you read and liked?

I find his writing style simple but it's that simplicity that seem to draw me back everytime he's got a new release. I never intended to make his novels a part of my collection but I think I have all of his books already anyway.

The ones I enjoyed most were:

Message In A Bottle
A Bend In The Road
The Notebook

Me too the simplicity makes me want to read those

And I also not intended to have a collection but I have half of those and
if not read it already through borrowing it.

i started reading his work way back in college when a friend lent me a copy of the notebook..after that i was completely hooked.

i also enjoyed reading message in a bottle especially the letters which garret wrote for his wife and for theresa..sobrang nakakatouch at talaga namang mabigat sa dibdib

My first Nicholas Sparks novel naman is A walk to Remember and
surely I cried!
Then I read The Notebook and after that I am hooked!

he's the only romantic novel author that i actually read (and like).

i cried buckets with "the notebook" and loved its "the wedding" sequel. ideal men ko sila noah and wilson. my girlfriends nga were trying to force our hubbies to read it para makakuha sila ng pointers.

Yung The Notebook, I like both the book and the movie version.

Another Nicholas Sparks must-read is THE WEDDING. Nice din to. Another tearjerker.

I read the Notebook nung 1998 pa and from there I was hooked. I read na rin A Walk Ro Remember, Message In A Bottle but after reading The Rescue parang ayoko na. Halos same yung plot eh, different people nga lang. Laging may separated people with some sort of tragedy bringing them together or tearing them apart. It kinda got predictable na kasi

Yes carms some of his novels have the same flow
of thought and plot, that is why for a while I stopped
reading his novels but I am really planning of reading
"The Wedding."

Recently read True Believer by Nicholas Sparks, and I liked it. It's not as mushy as his other books; it's about a science journalist who does research on unexplained phenomena and tries to debunk them. While on one of his trips he meets someone and.. just read for yourselves and enjoy!

ive read:
The notebook-super nice, walang sinabe yung movie hehe
The Rescue-super nice din for me
The Guardian
3 weeks with my brother
a walk to remember

i also have the ff pero hindi ko na binasa!
true believer-got bored sa first few chapters
nights in rodanthe-same
a bend in the road-same
message in a bottle-napanuod ko na kasi sa movie hehe

im planning to buy the wedding nga, maganda ba?

I agree with you candishh some of his books are predictable that is why I stopped for a while reading his novels.

i like a walk to remember, the wedding and message in a bottle. haven't read the notebook but i've seen the movie.

yung the guardian and true believer didn't finish it kasi naboringan ako.
