What scares me about growing old

siguro i have few..
 - being sick. i wouldn't want to burden my family with my sickness kasi.
 - yung old ka na tapos feeling mo kulang yung ginawa ko for my kids
 - yung old ka na tapos you still worry about your finances

I'm scared to grow old poor.

Kakayanin ko tumanda mag-isa, but not when I'm poor.

Being too dependent on others...

I'll be an emotional wreck because I will get tampo for the smallest things like no visits from grandchildren or pabigat na because of incapacity to do things.

Not being able to eat everything that I can even if I am not sick with anything.
Not being able to do the things that I can do at a younger age, like traveling for extended periods of time, spending sleepless nights just doing movie or tv series marathons, indulging in heart-stopping, crazily dangerous theme park rides, having the energy to line up on long queues for Black Saturday sales or other things that involve being in queues
Losing loved ones (may it be older family members, friends, colleagues, etc.) to the inevitable - a.k.a. death!

Illness, being alone, insufficient retirement fund (or having none at all ),  being and feeling like a burden, not being able to fulfill my dreams and curiosities in life. In short, growing old full of regrets.

Alone, withered with age, unloved and uncared for... So poor that all I have is money and a prosperous trade.

It cuts you up to know that you remember so much from the past but nobody remembers you. Sometimes, the thought of dementia and mental atrophy comforts me. Better to lose those memories than remind you as an old woman how they exist only in history.

Worst of all, reaching close to the end of my life having only lived its length and not its width

What scares me about growing old?
1. growing old alone
2. physical changes-wrinkles, white hairs, etc.
3. health problems especially when you don't have any retirement funds/savings for this
4. being forgetful
5. No one to cares for you or no one remembers you

Health problems. Sana makaipon ako ng madami para di na ko abalahin ng mga mahal ko sa buhay pag nagkasakit ako sa pagtanda ko.

I'm more concerned of my finances. As early as now, we have to invest in assets that will generate passive income (real estate, stocks, etc) so that money keeps coming in even though we can't work anymore.

Same here -- being unable to maintain my health, not having enough money, and ending up being totally alone. In that order.

Health problems din. I still want to be able to enjoy different hobbies when I grow old. I don't want to be stuck in a wheelchair taking different meds a day.
