yong siguro pag di ko pa nagagawa ang lahat nang gusto kong gawin tapos matanda na pala ako...at saka getting old na di stable plus the physical part which comes to being old... $:-\$

i know at some point that i can let go of whatever emotional baggage that i have, so that my fears about getting old are:

the weakening physical body, how it can succumb to illnesses, how it can't fight diseases, and as such di ko na pwede gusto gawin ang mga gusto kong gawin

I always like to say, "Grow old gracefully? Uh-uh. I'm gonna fight it all the way!"

What scares me about growing old is that someday I might no longer be able to do the things that I now take for granted...like getting up from a sitting position, bending over, doing all those physically demanding and fulfilling activities, etc. I don't like the thought of body aches and pains that go with aging. And of course, the usual things like sagging, wrinkly skin, age spots, health problems, lowered resistance to illnesses... That's why I've always told my children and my friends that taking care of one's health is an investment.

I have not really thought much about being alone when I grow old but now that I've read what the others have to say about it, I think it is a valid concern and something that I should definitely start thinking about.

What scares me about growing old is Alzheimer's disease. I don't want to forget all the things I've been through, wonderful memories, lessons learned and specially my loved ones.

without him, I'd die!!!- emotionally, financially....I'd go crazy!! he is my rock and pillar and he loves me very much.

The physical effects of aging- I'm not scared of them, it comes with life!!

getting sick and not having the means to have it treated. growing physically weak.
