sometimes it happens if  you're logging in from behind a firewall. happened to me a long time ago. but most likely it is from someone logging into your account from another computer. baka me nagamitan ka ng ym tapos na save ang password mo dun?

^ Agree. Always be careful not to click in "sign in automatically" because definitely na-save ang password mo and everytime someone opens ym e yung iyo ang bubukas. Hope mabuting tao ang gagamit at burahin na lang niya password mo.

ah..thanks.  heheh i only use automatic sign-in sa laptop ko and that has a password before anyone can enter windows.. and its in my room locked too.  i researched naman sa internet and sabi nila na sometimes glitch daw yan.. whew.. i hope glitch ra talaga

do you guys know kung paano yung you can check your history conversation kahit sa ibang pc?

yun din alam ko but may nabasa ako somewhere na its new sa ym na you can access your archives through other pc's..nawala nga lang yung binabasa kong yun kaya hindi ko alam how does it works..been looking for it til now kaya baka may nakakaalam dito....

^ You can only view the archive of messages if the save message history is checked in the preferences of that ym in a particular pc

kung in-doubt, eh di change your password na lang.

btw, ako naman pag login ko, i'm sure that i typed the correct password pero nakalagay parang login failure. buti sana kung once lang nangyari pero everytime i login using my desktop PC @home, ganun parati.

^^i know that..as ive said..theres this new function na you can check it using other pc, you just needed your password..but i cant find that instruction..

try checkin' if you have logged in yahoo mail in a browser and the messenger feature is enabled there. that's the reason why your YM client detected that you have signed in another computer.

nakaka inis YM ngayon.. lagi nalang ang tagal makapasok sa room.. puro try again..

@Kikay, sis nabasa ko yan dati na pwede ma-save lahat ng conversations sa isang archive tapos pwede mo ma-access sa ibang pc kaso sa web messenger lang yun. ewan ko lang kung ang ym mismo pwede ma-access sa ibang pc. alam ko lang kagaya ng sinabi ni sis bmitch, kapag naka-check sa preferences ng ym dun sa particular pc and account, don mo lang pwede mabasa yung archive.

question:  regarding "Im on SMS", may bayad ba yun every time i use that feature even if i dont use it to send outgoing message? or pag i use it to send out going message tsaka ako ma cha-charge? im using globe as my network.

and how can i disable this feature? kasi right now naka automatic siya, everytime i log out from my ym sa pc, may nisesend na [textspeak!] sakin ym message kung sino mga online sa mga list ko...  im afraid baka may charge rin yun?

hi ewi, me charge yan if you reply to a ym message from your mobile phone (e.g. text message reply).

if you register a mobile device, it will automatically log-on to it when you logout of ym.

to disable it, click on the Messenger Menu, select Preferences.
select the General category from the list and go to the Signing out of Yahoo Messenger section. Unclick the button with the label "Always sign in to my mobile device when I exit Messenger".

may question din ako... can you intentionally set your status to idle (yung may lalabas na clock sa left side)?

@wuvshoe - i dunno if this answers your question but it's sort of yes. you can set the timer for "set to idle" time to 1 minute so you can be "idle" in a minute or so

you can set it in preferences->privacy
