Sis what phone are you using? Dati kasi yung iPhone ko naiwan kong naka on yung cellular data so kahit na di ako nag iinternet tuloy-tuloy yung charge na 10 every 30mins kasi time based yung mobile data.

wow, may roaming deposit na sila na 2,500. tapos after mong magroaming, madedebit sya sa bills mo. d mo talaga makukuha yung money. sigurista talaga ang smart. pinoy na pinoy talaga.

^^^Sis try to get in touch with @SmartCares in twitter.  Demand for a refund.  Yan gawa ko dati pag meron unauthorized charges.  Just last week around 50 pesos nabawas sa akin kasi nag expire yung BIS ko while I was asleep kaya ayun when I woke up nabawasan ang load.  Looks like i need to turn off the data services kasi so that the other apps won't load or update.  Didn't ask for a refund na.  Tinamad ako.  Hassle din kasi.

For tipid roaming they have the smart pinoy sim. Php 300 Lang you can send 100 SMS to the Philippines Pero sa smart subs lang

Sobrang hassle talaga ang smart. Tama naman settings ng BB ko kasi galing ako sa Smart Wireless center. Ninakawan nila ako ng total of 168 pesos last weekend AND today! mga 40 pesos. Naka-off ang ang data services niyan ha. So, saan napunta load ko?

well,.ask ko lang regarding sa smart consumable plan..yung 500..when you say consumable,, dun sa 500 na yun pede ko bang magamit yun to avail yung mga unlimited offer? or hindi? or magiging additional charge yun?

sa ngayon kasi lagi akong nag aavail nung unlimited ng smart 60 pesos for 5 days so umaabot din ako ng 360 a month.

^sis, anything na mga subscription or kelangan ng registration is always on top of your bill. meaning d siya kasama sa consumable.

thank you Lord, wala na ako sa Smart. very hassle talaga. even sa pagpapadisconnect ng line, kelangan ko pa pumunta ng wireless center at pumila.

^Did they charge anything for disconnection of subscription? 

I plan to disconnect my Smart Gold postpaid line of about 10 years (to switch to a lower plan of Globe) in May and our Smart Bro (to switch to Smart Pocket Wi-fi).  I'm just waiting for the expiration of the retention perod for the Smart Gold. 

The selection of the free phones for the retention of the postpaid line are not nice and I'm not looking for a new phone din naman.  The nicer phones entail higher plan subscription or bigger cash out.  As for Smart Bro, last November tapos na yung retention period namin, and there's no incentive to keep the subscription.  A rebate of about P300.00 lang ang offer but that will have a new lock up period of 2 years.   

I will miss my Smart friends.

^ no. pero sa computation ko, this still owe me kasi i always overpay them tapos they still disconnect  my line. i told them, cut na? d ba you still owe me a few hundred bucks, tapos the girl just smiled. nag walk out na ko. d ko kaya magstay pa dun even for another 10 seconds for a couple of hundred pesos.

Ako I'm using my 8520 sa smart,prob ko nawawalan ako ng load kahit d ako subscribe sa bis,so I opted to turn off all my data services so I can't use mms din. Ganun ba talaga?sino ba nakatry ng smart wimax ok ba?

naloka ako, dami pala galit sa smart.  well i'm planning to get smart's pocket wifi.  any users here?  feedbacks?

^I availed of the pocket wifi last month. Okay naman so far, but I really cannot keep track of our use.  I got the P495/mo plan which is with 50 hours free.  Our bill for the first month is *drumroll* P1,173.83.  When you pay before the due date you get an additional 5 hours free.  Wala pa raw plan for unlimited hours of use.

Lock in period is for 24 months and you pay P150.00/month for 12 months for the unit.  The unit is so-so lang ha, nothing fancy, unlike the Tattoo Superstick which has an LCD screen.  The pocket wifi has small lighted icons for battery, signal strength connection and another icon I did not bother to look up in the manual.

The signal would depend on your location, but so far it's a good alternative to our wired Smart Bro which I had disconnected.  However, I've noticed that there might be times you have to turn off the unit and then turn it back on since the wifi device (laptop, iPhone etc.) cannot detect the signal.

Hi mga sis pa join po, notice ko [textspeak!] sa smart ha, ang hina nang signal nya pagdating sa blackberry phone, parati na lang SOS yung nakalagay sa signal bar ko at Globe & Sun yung pumapasok kapag i check the service network status. If i change the sim at nilalagay ko yung smart sa nokia, yun malakas yung signal, ok yung globe signal talaga sa blackberry.
