I love online shopping - very convenient, and most of the time i get to buy stuff from US sites na hamak na mas mura (item price + JAC shipping) kesa sa presyo dito sa Pinas. Kainis lang kasi yung ibang US
sites e hindi tumatanggap ng PH-issued CCs, kaya minsan ginagamit ko pa CC ni BiL na nasa US.

try to enroll your credit cards thru paypal. It's safer and more convenient.

^ yup, I have paypal. But some sites require pa din na US paypal account. But no worries, kasi we can use naman BIL's card anytime. We just let him know na ginamit namin para di sya magulat pagdating ng billing nya. Hehe..

Yes some sites require us paypal kaya hassle. I wanted to shop at elf (makeup) as giveaways for christmas for my officemates na staff pero yun nga us credit card lang ang tinatanggap nila...

Yun lang yung nakakabitin sometimes, when the site you're on is maarte and looking for a US credit card or has some other geographic restriction.  Bummer...

Pero maganda na rin kasi hindi hassle pa lumabas, and you can easily buy yung items na hindi locally available.

is this from amazon.com shipped direct to the Philippines? Haven't tried pa kasi. Usually for me, from amazon to my aunt's house in the US and then they sent it through forexworld or LBC. Minsan nahihiya na din ako. What items did you buy na 10 days lang? I plan on buying a Amazon Fire TV. Magkano pala ang taxes/shipping if direct to the PH and if may babayaran pa ba sa customs dito? Did they deliver it to your mismong house?

I'm addicted to online shopping because it's very convenient Pag nag mall, usually eating or movie na lang kasi kawawa naman si Fiance nabobore pag nagshopping ako

Downside lang ay wrong size, different color, saka yung diyos kong taxes ng customs mas mahal pa kesa binili ko!!!
But I've learned from all of these so kailangan talaga read fine print, check, recheck.. still shopping online until now hehe

Yup sis, doorstep sya, sent thru DHL yung akin. So, wala na rin sa customs kasi kasama na sya sa taxes upon checkout. Light items lang, wala pang 1 kilo. If I remember correctly, my order was around 5-6k then taxes more than 1k.

Killer ang customs tax, it takes the joy out of shopping on Amazon.  Lots of times I see stuff that I like and I think "bilhin ko na kaya?"  Ang daming good deals, especially pag sale.  I'd get all excited and giddy thinking about what I'd buy and what a steal it all is because of the great prices.  Then when I compute what the customs tax is going to be, it bursts my bubble of joy    The online bargains aren't such a steal anymore.  Times like this make me wish that I lived in the US, para super sulit ang savings on Amazon.

It is more convenient lalo if the site accepts credit card.  I prefer delivery most of the time, pero enjoy ko rin to go to the mall.

grabe lang ang truck ban or port congestion talaga. i bought a lot of things sa amazon shipped via pobox. hanggang ngayon, 2 months after, waley pa rin. wala ding update man lang kung ano na nangyari. i bought a lot of things pa naman. 2 big boxes lahat. i am super worried na.

Now that I'm a mom, lalo ako naadik sa online shopping. It's just so convenient, especially for a breastfeeding mom of an infant. And if from local shops, the items will be delivered in 1-3 days, hassle-free.

But of course, I still go actual shopping sa mall when time permits. Iba pa din yung actual na namimili ng stuff, compare-compare, sukat-sukat, etc. But for convenience, online shopping rocks.

certified online shopping addict here.  very convenient, click click click, 2 days later,  the packages are in my front porch.  plus the store's online site have better promos and discount.
amazon has anything and everything under the sun.  with prime membership,  2 day shipping is free.  and very easy to return too, just drop it off in any UPS store.
i hardly go to box stores now kasi i don't have the patience to weed thru the items,  esp sale items,  what a mess sometimes to go thru a big pile. 
the only thing i cannot order online is groceries, as much as some supermarkets offer this service now (and amazon too),  i need to see the actual food i'm buying.

^I take it that you're in the US? Anyway, Safeway also has online grocery shopping. We also do sa Wal-Mart online. Siguro sa mga sa US talaga based, it is ordinary na lang to shop sa big box stores pero since we are still giddy with excitement with everything Americana, I always look forward to checking out the malls and these big box stores like Costco, Sam's Club, Target, etc.. super like ko to explore products that we only hear of in the Philippines.

I'm an honest online seller. I do legit transactions. I know there are dishonest and bogus buyers out there, pero pag nakakaencounter ako ng isa, nakakashock pa rin. nakakadisappoint.

hindi na ako umaasang maibabalik yung 1880 na ninakaw sa akin ng bogus buyer na to. hindi ko ikakayaman yon. Pero yun ang pagmumulan ng KARMA nya. Sinusumpa ko yan. Sana, pag nakarma na sya, maalala nya ang sinabi kong yan.

She claimed to have paid for the product she ordered from us via Cebuana Lhuiller. When we tried to remit the payment in Cebuana, we found out that our name was incomplete and thus we could not claim the remittance. At that time, Richelle Fider had already received the package she'd ordered from us.

We contacted RICHELLE FIDER to have our name amended in Cebuana para ma-claim namin ang payment. But not only did she refuse to do so, but she also REFUNDED the payment from Cebuana knowing that we could not claim it. And also because NASA KANYA NA ANG PRODUCT NAMIN NA INORDER NYA.

Our shop suffered a loss of P1,880 because of this bogus buyer. We are honest sellers and though we know na may mga ganitong tao, nakakadisappoint pala talaga kapag nakatagpo ka ng manloloko.

I love shopping online. I'm just glad I don't have a credit card. If I had one, I'd probably be swamped with debt right now because of implusive online shopping. Hahaha! It's very convenient. But I don't buy clothes online because I'm worried it won't look good on me or the size isn't right and usually, may mga ibang shops na yung clothes look much better in pictures than in real life. For Korean cosmetics naman, I usually go to the physical stores muna to test the products then pag gusto ko, I'll buy it online kasi mas cheaper. Haha!
