What Can You Say About Online Shopping?

^for me sis pareho lang ang multiply and facebook if you want to shop online, but if you are a seller, dun medyo magkaiba kasi sa fb mas maganda ang product exposure since lahat naman na yata ng tao may fb account, most multiply sellers advertise thru facebook na din kasi nga dahil sa exposure. but facebook has been strict na ngayon sa selling and tagging and posting compared before, it's their way to prevent misuse and spammers and scammers na din.

but then ang dami-dami-daming scammer sa facebook, ang dali lang kasi magpapalit-palit ng profile. and magnakaw ng profile ng mga legit seller. Yung mga legit nagiging scammer na in the long run kasi nga naman mas mabilis ang kita ng scammer, and for some reason mas magaling sila bumenta kesa sa legit sellers. pati sa mga auctions and biddings, may mga seller na scammer pala. there's no way to know kahit may proof of shipping or feedback pa kasi ang daling magnakaw ng photos ng iba.

i'm a bit worried nga kasi may pending ako na pre-order worth 18k of makeup. although i met the seller personally, gave me her address and contact details, i'm still worried kasi yesterday nawalan daw sya ng money and she's asking yung mga buyers nya to pay to cover up for the lost money. i know it may be true din naman, but i dunno, i'm just worried. how do i really know if i will get my items. sabi naman nya, they were already paid for sa supplier nya so no worries.

thanks sis for the comparison. pansin ko nga na ang daming nag scascam sa facebook - saw some sellers posting that they are not so and so and that their profile is being used by someone else. kakatakot!

oh no sis about your 18k transaction! sana maayos mo yun and finally receive the items that you ordered. it wasn't your fault naman na nawala yung money. update us ano nangyari. i hope all will turn out okay.

pag ba thru china bank or metro bank ang payment pa deposit ba un ? saka kailangan pa ba magpresent ng id ? may gusto kasi akong bilhin sa online shop kaso problema ko yung valid id kasi nawala lahat ng record ko . hehe . then pag shipping babayaran na ba yun agad o pagdating pa nun item . sorry for lots of question i dont have any idea kasi about that . pls answer my question , i need kasi nun item before christmas . Joining! Also both a seller and a buyer But still new in selling. I think both are equally fun hehe. The best nga ang FB sa advertising. Hirap pag may sariling domain, lalo na pag starting pa lang. Buti na lang may FB. Hehe.

From japan:  rakuten.com diretso delivery sa bahay.  I paid 500 for small item.  They have a cheaper option pero palagay ko sa post office ang bagsak nh items

From uk.  Mrspharmacy.com.  Ata ang name nya. I bought 8 items of the same kind. Shipping cost was minimal pero sa post office ang bagksak (pasay). So ayun nakagat ako ng buwaya.

From hk. Ebay.ph but the item was shipped from hk.. Small jacket lang. I had to wait more than 2 weeks then sa makati post office ang bagsak. Up to now d ko pa nakukuha kasi mga a$$h0£e  yung tao dun, mali daw yung label. Ng packaging.  Tapos asan daw yung tag price.

Amazon.com. But i had the items shipped to my friends office in maryland kasi pausi sya ng pinas. It was very fast, they even informed me na earlier date than usual  daw madedeliver yung items... I also availed amazon prime  for free buti  na lang i had my online visa card cut so hindi nila ako nakacharge for 1year. 

Magnums.com. For longchamp bag that was 25% off.   This is the best merchant kasi they ship free. I had it shipped in maryland first then kailangan ng sign ng receiver, so i reuqestedrerouting of shipping to another friend i ny. They did this for free again! Galing ng customer service nila.

Universal studios singapore. To but tickets at USS at 20% off plus 10 dollar food credit.. Ok naman

Various hotel booking sites like agoda.com, booking.com, etc.  yung iba may online discount coupon i was able to use as welll.

Mga sisters may question ako, oorder kasi sana ako ng Otter box sa amazon, pwede ba gamitin yung BDO CC ko? gano katagal bago dumating dito sa pilipinas yung item saka usually, magkano shipping nila?

I bought a commuter (otterbox) for my defy last year and CC gamit ko via paypal. Super mura nya at FREE ship. Only paid $30-ish for the item. Authentic sya, however, di ako ganun ka-impress sa pag-pack nung seller. I sell stuff too kasi and I pack with LOTS of bubble wrap.

Online shopping is very convenient. i've saved a lot of money with some of the items i've purchased online. Sadly, the amount i've saved eh napupunta lang din sa mga dagdag na bibilhin. Hehe.

I use pobox for purchases from the US. I've also tried johnny air retail padala for items na nagmadali ako and where i dont need consolidation. I've bought from the following sites:

Gap and old navy: use pobox's address as billing and shipping address. Di kasi pwede magkaibang country ang shipping and billing address. They ship direct to here but OA ang tax at shipping so i send to pobox. Free shipping for purchases $50 and up.

Zappos: i've bought shoes from here, for me and for my daughter. Those that are for me, i get only the brands that i know fit me well kasi o wont get to try on the shoes. So far walang sablay. They offer free shipping, no minimum amount. I'm a vip member so i get free 1-day shipping.

Amazon: most of my purchases are from here. My husband has been a (free) prime member since 2007 so we get 2-day free shipping but within the US lang so i send to pobox. I've recently had a bad experience with a reseller but good that my order was cancelled and i wasnt charged.

Vitacost.com: same as gap, use pobox address as billing address. I buy vitamins from here. Free shipping for purchaes $49 (yata) and up.

Luckyvitmain.com: cheaper here than at vitacost but minimum spend required for free shipping is $100 so di ako aabot, i buy from vitacost.

Diapers.com: i bought from here gerber food stuff for my daughter kasi pwede tingi. If i buy kasi from amazon, dapat packs of 6 or more. Masyado madami. So here, tingi.

Ralphlauren.com: they dont accept our card and yung style that works sa gap doesnt work here so friends usually buy for me then i pay them.

Ebay.com: dati toysrus.com didnt our accept our card, i think now they do. But i used ebay.com to buy TRU stuff. The same TRU.com is on ebay. I paid via paypal. I've also bought from other sellers on ebay.com also using paypal.

Spanx.com: they accept our card. Mas sulit bumili online kesa dito, whether local online or sa rustans.

Strawberrynet.com: i tried this once kasi i got groupons. Sa pque post office ang bagsak so natax pa ako. Hassle for me ang pickup sa post office so never again.

Carters.com: same strategy sa billing address as gap.

Incipio.com: got our iphone cases here. Payment was via amazon. Hassle-free din.

Local naman, i've tried the groupon/voucher sites plus some sellers at multiply/fb like:
- quigle on multiply and fb
- themommyandbabyshop or something on fb
- wee + mutsi on fb
- babyclothes atbp or something on fb
- ebay.ph for various stuff like books, cds
- fotosnaps for photo books
- photobooks philippines for photo books
- ichigo shoes
- melissa philippines

I've also tried before si myonlineshopper sa multiply. This was when i didnt know about pobox yet. Ok din siya.

Sa ebay ba pwede magpadeliver dito straight sa pinas kung 50 dollars lang yung pinurchase ko? Sa amazon kasi hindi pwede eh, correct me if im wrong.

^ depende sa seller. Usually nakalagay naman if they ship international and how much it costs.

Sa amazon most items ship to the US only that's why i use a forwarder like po box or johnny air.

^ amazon accepts our card so pwede yang bdo mo. Most, if not all, ebay sellers prefer paypal. But again, check the item details because the sellers specify what modes of payment they accept.
