i like online shopping. it's very convenient. but make sure you shop in secure sites. check the sites with https esp when you are purchasing with your credit card. i buy from amazon.com for books and also in cebupacificair for all my local flights.

My brother just bought an item online, it seems safe even if used my creditcard.  Hindi nga lang popular sa mga Filipinos yan, they still prefer cash on delivery.

^I agree. And recently for me, I got addicted to Multiply shopping.

Since I discovered it last Feb, the number of accessories and bags in my room have doubled!

With Multiply, usually I text or email the seller for inquiries muna before I decide to buy. If they're prompt and accommodating, I feel more confident to go ahead with my purchase.

Aside from one major delay, I am lucky not to have encountered swindlers.

I think online shopping is fine as long as you remain careful. Yun nga lang, hassle minsan kapag may gusto kang papalitan.

i like online shopping kasi its less hassle for me, and i get really good deals when shopping online... pero hindi parin maaalis mag-alala minsan... basta kailangan laging careful...


anyway OT ito pero can anybody give me a list of multiply sites that sells stuff? Particularly ballet shoes/peep toes. Paki PM nalang... Thanks!

i love online shopping! so far sa amazon pa lang ako nagtitiwala. and ang ginagawa ko, i order almost everytime may kakilala akong uuwi dito sa pinas. although usually ang ino-order ko lang are books, dvds and toys. clothes and shoes i haven't tried kasi ayoko ma-hassle pag hindi nagkasya.

I only shopped in ebay once, for a book that I couldn't find locally. I got it promptly and in good condition, so I"m lucky. Still, when it comes to clothes and shoes, I'd still prefer mall shopping - nothing beats try before you buy!

I've bought scrapbook supplies from australia weighing below 1kg and I only pay P35 sa post office to get it.  I think if you buy books, the same applies.  The librarian here in our office says she only pays the same amount when she gets the books from the makati post office.

On online shopping, I love it!  the stuff I buy most nowadays are scrapbook supplies and magazine subscriptions (local sites and international).  For local sites payment is made through bank deposits, international is credit card. Wala pa namang nangloko. But I've done shopping through gt and multiply as well. I just make sure that the seller is credible and as much as possible payment is made through meet-ups.

Before, I was selling a digicam online, I received an email from someone named 'barry john' saying he wants to buy it and the payment and shipping he prefers is through a "united postal service". Tapos I received an email from the "postal service" saying that they received the payment already and that I should proceed with shipping of my product.  I was very hesitant since mukhang bogus talaga so I didn't proceed with the sale. So sa mga sellers beware din.

totoo! karamihan eh ang ganda sa picture , pero  pag nakuha mo na yung goods eh parang makikita mo lang sa divisoria, like sa multiply sobrang asar ako kasi ang ganda sa pic nung earrings pag tanggap ko eh ang pangit! and known sya as ganun , dami akong friends who ordered from her, pare-pareha kami ng comment , maganda lang sya kumuha ng pics tapos maganda website  nya
