^you are sooo right there, ANEKE MUST MAKE TIME for her baby.
(sorry for the weird indentions, tht is
[textspeak!] happens when I correct my spellings on my IPad - madalas kasi sa bilis, hindi mag register a letter pressed.

. ).
1st things 1st- do not let the current situation slide. In a posiive manner, ANEKE, ask your husband to go back to helping you. Sabihin mo - his mom is not a yaya, you are not a maid, and you want to spend good time with the baby and him. Say you appreciated and loved him more for his help before, puede ba magtulungan ulet? Do not let that big baby off the hook. Or else some years down, you will wonder baket ikaw lang pag problema pinag- uusapan, at ikaw lang sumasalo ng additional family responsibilities. So maaga pa lang, do not let him get away with it. You married him to have a happy life, hindi parang maging unpaid sex provider and maid.
Now, that MIL of yours, pag sinabi nya sa baby si "Mama" sya .. For ex., Imelda name ng mom mo --
whether alive or dead, refer to your mom as "Mama Imelda" ( who used to live in Malacanang, or
whatever). Or, call your MIL si "Mama Pretty"or "Mama Ganda" ... Whatever ikakikilig nya but
differentiates you. Refer to yourself as Mommy. (Alam mo, ok dn Mamita tawag k MIL)
At the height of my separation pangs from my baby, when I had to go back to worK like you, ANEKE, each morning, I sent off my babe with her midwife yaya to my mom's house - salon and house lang buhay ng mom ko ha, andun pa our dear old yaya na mas mahirap sabihan quesa mom namin. Lol. eh
di ang daming tao gusto maging center of my baby's universe! Basta pag uwi ko, after a brief hug and
kiss, I shower and get hold of my baby. Whatever I was doing, kasama ko sya, we talk - este, I talk,
The baby listens. I make her feel important to me, kahit mag tantrums si husband. Ang sa kin, your time is at a later hour. So ganun, ANEKE, when you are home. .. Take care of your babe, and gently
steer your MIL to take care of HER big baby, or to rest. DO NOT DEFAULT (to her.)
At night, my babies sleep with me, until they ask to sleep in their own room. Mahirap kasi mapupuyat
ka (but less as they grow) and you wake up earlier. But you can ease the burden by preparing ahead.
Like me, how did I survive with 3 kids in our bedroom? Each kid had a midwife yaya. Pwes, kanya
kanyang bottle and sterilizer sets yan. Easily distinguishable, kahit pikit both my eyes. Each yaya
better prep everything in our room before we all settle in for the night, para kahit duling ako half asleep - Taktak lang ng pre-measured milk for whoever's bottle - voila! Ok na kaming mag-iina. Pag nagsabay mag alboroto sa gabi - there are times like that - ah, we have 2 rockers in the room. Hubby
has to get up and do his share. To this day, ewan ko how I survived that. Full business load ako noon,
as always to this day.
ANEKE, you gotta act NOW. What is worth keeping requires a lot of work - your son's love for you.
Work on it parang maliwanag sa anak mo, nobody loves him more than you do.. Kahit na somebody else
spends more time with him.
