Hi! Anyone here who tried felt or silk fabric bouquets? maganda ba sya tignan? im planning to have that kasi budgeted wedding kami.may nakita ako 7500 package n sya. inludes 15 boutnnieres for groomsmen and sponsors, 15hand corsages or mini bouquets daw for bridesmaids and sponsors, 1 bouquet for bride, special boutnniere for groom, 3 flower basket and free beaded bridal cord.  parang mas practical kasi kung hndi totoong flowers na nalalanta agad lalo na summer ang target date namin. Im also planning to make paper pomanders for the decor and fabric ribbons na lang sa church.

thanks sis 120515 and xsugar!! spent approx 3,200 for my bouquet, 6 bouquets for moh bridesmaids and secondary sponsors. 3 mini bouquets for flowergirls plus headpieces. 5  wrist corsage for ninangs. not bad na rin. marami pa sobrang fabric that i can use as additional decor.

girls any of you who knows where i can buy cheap frames mga 50 or less for our table numbers aside from divi? is 4r the standard size or can we use 5r size for the table numbers (o baka too big na?) tia!

Hello!

I am looking for a brown rattan/ water hyacinth woven basket for my tied shawls (80-100 pcs) which we'll be offering to female guests in case they get cold. It has to be big to fit everything! So far it seems online is the best place to shop. I've checked out Pottery Barn, West Elm and Crate and Barrel. Also saw one in a British brand in SM--- so far everything is between PhP1800-2500 and already looks the part. But my fiance is wary because he thinks it'll just get stolen during the wedding day itself and wants to go super cheap. Does anyone know any other places worthy of being checked out?

I'm also looking for a flat tray version--- for pastries we'll be serving during cocktails in addition to my caterer's appetizers. I want that look wherein it's lined with a clean towel and covered up, and guests can just get as they please. This one's relatively expensive in those same stores, so looking for an alternative just the same. TIA!

hi mrsg, try out daiso, hope there is one over there in the philippines...i got a bunch of frames from daiso about a week ago and it was sgd2 per frame. the frames i got are 3R but they also sell bigger frames at the same price

my husband and i are big star trek fans and i've been thinking of a way to incorporate our trekkie-ness into our wedding. what i came up with was to include some of our favorite star trek lines into the photobooth props and to make a star-trek madlib for the guests to entertain themselves with during cocktails.

so i'm sharing the results for those brides who are wondering how they can incorporate their favorite shows/movies/fandoms into their weddings. you can do it without clashing with your theme. we are going for a rustic feel to our wedding and one of our wedding colors is gold.

Hi, im planning to make a fabric bouquet for our wedding pero sobrang effort gumawa ng silk/satin roses and sometimes hindi pa perfect yung rose ko. 18 out of 56 pcs ang reject sa nagawa ko i also took 30mins of sewing per one piece of rose. May alam ba kayo na nabibilan ng silk rose para ididikit and arrange ko na lang sa styroball. TIA.

hi mrsg... i got my frames from Trinoma.. 4x6 is 80pesos buy 1 take 1, so it means 40 pesos lang per frame.. maganda rin quality.. =) after wedding, magagamit pa for my home decor.. =)

^120515 I've been to Tabora, actually. Kagulo lang haha it's hard to find what you're looking for unless you really spend an entire day there siguro and search every nook and cranny. I was able to buy some easy stuff like raffia which is sold a lot there pero no baskets I might buy in a mall / online na just for convenience haha naaawa ako kay fiance whenever we go to Divi.

hi sis. i made my bouquet out of fabric also.    i used satin fabric. if you really prefer roses for your bouquet, i suggest felt cloth. easier sya iform na rose unlike satin na madulas and soft.
