Powerbooks, by far.

But there's really no competition because both are owned by the same family.

im more comfortable going to National Bookstore, siguro kasi mas accessible yung place niya....like sa glorietta, malapit lang sa entrance to SM, unlike yung Powerbooks, most of the time hinahanap ko pa.

Powerbooks for me - the staff are more accomodating and naka arrange talaga so it's easy to find a book

i prefer powerbooks [textspeak!]. i agree na sobrang nice ng staff nila. kilalang kilala na nga ako dun sa greenbelt branch kasi i go there once a week. hehe.

I think same lang ang price nila, same owner lang rin sila.. mas maraming specialty books sa powerbooks compared sa national

in powerbooks kase, you can find rare books...
sa national bookstore naman, well, mas maraming shops ang national bookstore than powerbooks...

Powerbooks! - especially if you have their discount card, 10% for cash payment, 5% for credit card. While I browse around the store, I leave my 11 yr old to read her fave mangga books which cost about P500each. She is almost done with vol. 7 (imagine my savings!). Kaya this summer tambay kami sa Megamall para magpalamig while reading.

I am not a fast reader so I buy the novels, but when it comes to some reference books like gardening, decorating tips, I can browse through it.

Bigger and Better Powerbooks Warehouse Sale!

Powerbooks is having a warehouse sale on march 16 to 31 at # 25 brixton st. capitol subdivision, pasig city. (if you are coming from shaw blvd. it's the street parallel left to pioneer st. you take a left turn in reliance st. then right to brixton st.) there is a big powerbooks signage at the gate.

there are more bargain books and bigger discounts! see you all there!

yup sis mas mahal nga ng konti sa powerbooks. Me naman kasi habit ko na na mag canvass muna ng price sa national then tsaka ako pupunta sa powerbooks. minsan mas mahal ng konti sa powerbooks pero mas maganda naman yung design ng cover nila or sometimes may choices pa ng design ng cover.
