Re paglabas labas, I guess people are really starting to adapt to this new normal. For me ok lang lumabas basta yun nga maintain precaution pa din. No no pa din sa walang social distancing at mask. Dining out, not for me pa rin. May mga kainan kasi na magkatalikuran lang kayo ng ibang tao. May nabasa din ako from a medical field na something like this - yung HIV nga hanggang ngayon walang gamot pero ok naman tayo bakit kailangan tumigil ang mundo dahil sa COVID? To be fair, mababa pa rin ang death rate ng COVID compared sa ibang sakit. Wala lang talaga masyadong pang info regarding this new virus kaya nakakatakot. Mas marami pa ring namamatay due to other illness dito sa PH.

For our anniv next month we might go on a road trip on a nearby province. Ok din sana hotel kasi may mga open na pero praning ako na hindi nalilinis maigi yung room. Yayks! Drive thru or take out food then sa car na lang kakain. Just to get some sunlight and fresh air. Hindi kasi talaga kami nakakalabas sa kalsada. Sorry OT!

Eto talaga yung sobrang pinagtataka ko, imagine Vietnam and Thailand na mega tourist country. Actually Thailand ang #1 every year na most visited country. Pero they kept the virus at bay at never umangat ang numbers. Vietnam na kung tutuusin mas mahirap pa satin, contained the virus. Tayo lang ang umaasa sa vaccine. Ang haba haba na ng lockdown and everyone is at their wit's end.

Sorry OT again. I just feel very hopeless sa situation natin ngayon. Makapunta nga ng Manila Bay Sands para marefresh ang mental health ko.

i have a friend in Thailand they say na malala pa rin ang covid dun pero gov decided not to release info dahil sobrang bumagsak ang economy nila, remember nung kasagsagan ng covid sa asia thai kasi yung ang bilis [textspeak!] ng pagtaas then biglang ngstop mgupdate ng new cases ang thailand. Unlike PH kasi na few weeks [textspeak!] ngdip then nakabounce back agad yung economy dahil sa mga ongoing projects and bilis mgcope ng tao.

1 factor to look at din kasi yung cases per population, top 13 tayo sa population pero yung cases per population natin pang 103 lang tayo. Yung tests performed din sa pinas 2M ang diff bet thai and viet. So kahit papano for me mukang gov is trying hard naman talaga its just that wala naman talaga pang permanent solution. All countries are struggling. Recently nga ang daming protest sa AU bec of lockdown measures dahil may new wave of cases sila.

May source ka nung sa Thailand or is that a conspiracy theory? Kasi reputable news outlets hindi naman sinasabi yang tinatago ng government ang totoong situation sa Thailand. I mean if there really is a silent outbreak in Thailand, major outlets would have picked it up. E puro events na sila ngayon, may ongoing pageants pa nga sila like pre-pandemic levels.

Yeeep. Ang dami nating ginagawang tests, pero marami rin nagpopositive, so madami pa rin ang local transmissions. Unlike sa ibang ASEAN countries na wala ng masyadong transmissions, so no need to test more. OT sorry!

yeah tama marami rin naman talaga factor, hindi rin natin masabi who is doing better or not talaga. ayoko lang din idismiss yung efforts ng gov compared to other countries na wala, like yung ayuda, ilang groceries din ang natanggap namin ha, cash for the poor(although some ata eh nakurakot), yung free testing, hotel, etc for ofws na based from expi is sobrang smooth ha unlike dito sa abroad eh lahat may bayad. plus the fact na nasustain yung economy and other projects.

kaya naiinis ako sa mga influencer dahil sana eh nagagamit yung platform nila para sa awareness, pero hindi since hindi monetized kapag covid related ang video, tapos #1 pa sa pagiging pasaway. sabay magrereklamo sa gov.

I have to respectfully disagree.

- There are a lot of KPIs to measure how a country is doing with its COVID response. The Philippines is definitely not one of the countries who are effective. Let's admit that.

- Not because nakatanggap ka ng ayuda ng ilang beses ay effective na for all. Maswerte din kami dito sa Marikina kasi effective ang LGU namin. Pero sa QC at Manila, yung mga jeepney drivers dun ay hindi pa din nakakakuha ng SAP since March. 

- Returning residents: Isa ako sa mga stranded abroad from March until June. I'm a non-OFW so I had to pay for everything, which is just right because hindi naman ako OFW. Hindi smooth ang process. Inabot ako ng 6 hours sa airport kasi hindi coordinated that time. I had to pay for my hotel for 13 days just to wait for the result of the PCR Test (yep ganon kalala). It is not at all smooth-sailing. Kung okay na ang proseso ngayon, that's because 7 months na ang nakalipas at dapat lang na maayos na. For other countries residents naman, free ang testing nila like Taiwan and Singapore according to my foreign counterparts there. Quarantine accommodations ay free din for residents and nationals.

- OFW libre yes dapat lang kasi OFWs are literally our exports and nagbabayad ang OFWs natin ng fees for them every year. So trabaho talaga ng government to provide them services. To say that we owe the government thanks for doing their literal job is so appalling.

- Nasustain ang economy and projects () san banda nasustain when we are literally at the slump. Which is expected for all countries at this time. But to say nasustain is a reach.

Lastly, I know that you are very pro-government in other threads here which is very much okay, it's everyone's right. But please let's be more discerning sa mga opinions natin. One thing about solving our problems is to ADMIT that we have indeed a problem.

Eto naman kasi talaga ang #1 problem ng vloggers ngayon. 90% of their content are made outside - travels,events, parties, sponsorships or kahit simpleng gala sa mall.

Natetest talaga ang creativity nitong mga so-called "content creators". Piling pili lang talaga sila nakakagawa ng content sa bahay. David Guison and Penelope Pop are one of those.

Also, meron din kasi mga mundane everyday life vloggers lang naman na may content pa din. Nasa creativity na lang talaga yan.

diba may nagpapadala naman ng mga PR sa kanya.. why not mag beauty related content din siya para hindi puro paglilibot or mabawasan ng konti ang paglilibot. ganyan din naman mga content nya dati. like sila Johnrey, Anne Clutz, di ko sila nakikitang labas nang labas usually sa bahay lang sila and their videos are beauty related..
