Hi! Anyone here who is considering gowns from Divisoria? Magkano qoute sa inyo and how was the experience, the quality of the gown? How many months before the wedding kayo nagsimula mag gown hunting?

Bridal Gown hunting I would suggest at least a year early or more.  Some designers prefer advanced booking as they limit the number of orders and customer they accommodate to ensure quality.

I hope sa mga bridal fairs pwede isukat gowns no? pwede ba yun? hahaha.

I really think helpful ang bridal fairs kasi all in nandun na lahat, from invitation, rings, gowns, giveways, reception, caterer, wedding planner, flowers, photo, pati honeymoon. Hahaha. =D

if you?re looking for a photographer, do not book TREASURED MEMORIES. They refused to give us a refund despite that:

1. There was no written contract
2. We were unaware that any payment made 1 year before the event is forfeited because there was no contract
3. NO SERVICE HAS BEEN RENDERED YET

I just want to share this. Actually my friend's experience at her wedding last Saturday. I cannot believe that this really happen. I don't know if there was same experience.

My friend book San Roque Cathedral few months before their wedding. The church changed theur schedule without informing them because they have an inmportant event which will be attended by 2 bishops. Imagine from 9am wedding, they moved it to 8am without telling the couple. To think they visited the parish office a week before their wedding to check everything is ok as advused by their coordinator.

Actually nalaman lang nya problem, after their wedding na. Kaya daw pala hindi nai-play ang gusto nyang bridal march song because the church refused dahil late daw sila. Where in fact, 9am ang alam nila dahil wala nagsabi sa kanila beforehand na moved sila to 8am.

Ending, nag-start daw agad pagdating ng friend ko sa church (my friend is the bride). It was around 8:20am. Lahat stressed dahil sa ginawa ng church, the coord, the photog, the groom. 3 ninangs wasn't able to march and asking kung late na daw ba sila. Muntik na hindi payagan ang photo-ops inside the church because they need to exit the church at 9am, but the church gave 15 minutes for photo-ops.

The church insist that the next event is "far more important than a wedding" daw. Overheard by the groom. The caterer was also stressed because the guests arrived early before they finished their set-up. Buti na lang daw the wedding is smooth except this.

Hahaha.

^Kaso wala naman siyang magagawa kundi mag-march. Bawi nalang siya in case magkaroon ng renewal of vows in the future.

Sabi ng church it was posted in the bulletin board.

Hi mga sis, December 2020 bride here. Cavite wedding din. Anyone here na kinasal sa Carmona cavite? Anong name ng catholic church dun? Taga GMA Cavite talaga ako pero mas accessible samin yung Carmona kasi maraming venue like yung gusto namin reception sa Carmona Community Center malaki kasi tsaka medyo mura lang.

^Welcome to the club Sis.  ;) Basta enjoy mo lang preps. The earlier to start the better. Ang advise sa akin noon ng coordinator turned friend ko, start to set your wedding date, schedule the church and reception venue then from there, tuloy-tuloy na. Mas madali daw kasi makipag-comminicate sa mga suppliers if may specific date for your wedding ka na.

Then if ok na sa wedding date, set your priority suppliers to book. Like caterer, p/v, coordinator much better if mag-book ka ng coord earlier (kahit OTD lang kunin mo) para utilized mo ng bongga yung online consultations nila (which sa case ko malaking tulong talaga advise nila). Yun lang. Congrats sa inyo Sis.

Would recommend Mango Farm. Madali sila kausap. Medyo limited lang accredited caterers nila though (Hizon's, Josiah's and KbyC), but your chosen caterer might be willing to pay their corkage fee.  What I liked best is that solo nyo yung place for a full 7 hrs, and if there's no event the next day, they don't mind you extending. So we actually extend our photo ops after the reception para hindi matagal waiting time ng guests between ceremony & reception.

Grabe lang my friend went through with this designer Lian Martin. Bago pa lang siya and yet the attitude.

October 2020 bride here.

Got engaged last June 2019 and the first thing I did was to book suppliers particularly the major ones like the photo/videographers as they tend to get booked by -ber months. We also booked the venue/caterer and since we?re having a civil wedding, we didn?t have a problem with securing the venue as the ceremony and reception will take place there.

However, my only regret is that I should not have been impulsive when it came to booking the venue coz now 11mos away from the wedding and I wanted to change the venue from an events place to a garden wedding.

I saw The Mango Farm and fell completely inlove with their place and the ironic thing is its just a few kilometer from my fianc??s place.

Sadly, I cannot push for a garden wedding anymore since we have already made the deposit with the venue and caterer.

Lesson: Think first before making a confirmation lest you end up regretting like me. 🤦🏼‍♀️
