Yehes! I belong to this thread. At this early, we already book our church which is caleruega, venue: casa de corazon at tagaytay and catering: L&J catering. Super aga namin magbook kahit dec 2018 pa kami, haha.. excited? Sigurista lang din for the price lock and availability of suppliers. Ayoko din mangarag na last minute preparations.hehe.. target namin ni h2b na almost supplier we need will be booked next year. Para focus kami sa 2018 na pagiipon naman namin for the after wedding gastos. :)

Present!!! 2018 din plan namin ni h2b. It might be hard for me kasi pag nakuha na nya ako, overseas bride nako.  :'( And ngayon palang I'm thinking kung paano ko maayos lahat yun esp yung mga church requirements.

Do you think it is advisable to get P&V this early?  Our wedding is not until Feb 2018.  One of my friends said kase na baka by next year yung mga inooffer nila like Aerial shots, which has additional cost will be part of the package na. kase by then, mura na lang mga drones, etc. :P

Sabi nila sis mas early mas mura at masesecure mo yung gusto mong P/V for your date. Mejo nakakatakot nga magbook next year para sa 2018 na wedding baka magtaas na yung mga suppliers kasi hot year i think ang 2018. Sana lang talaga hindi (cross fingers). Ayaw namin magbook agad ng P/V kasi gusto namin umatend ng bridal fair next year baka madaming freebies and inlcusions. Baka next year magstart na sila magtaas..

Overseas b2b here.... Still havent booked any suppliers kasi naman si h2b is a seafarer so unpredictable ang uwi nila. kaya eto scout scout lang muna ng prospect na suppliers sa internet lang kasi wala pa kaming definite date... Probably 1st quarter of 2018. Yun ang nkakapagpa stress sakin ngayon plang. Haha. Kasi d mkapag umpisa eh. In 3 3 months time bakasyon ko na so baka will maximize nlng my 35-day vacation sa pag ocular visit ng church and venue as well.

Hello,

February 2018 bride here. Nag ocular kami today ng h2b ko in Tagaytay for our venue. Ang hirap maghanap ng spacious and magandang venue for a reasonable price! So far eto mga napuntahan namin today:

-Narra Hill: I'll be honest. I will never recommend this place for a wedding. Sobrang hirap puntahan nakakatakot.

-The Lake Hotel: nice view of the volcano, naliliitan kami sa garden (Christian wedding kasi kami so we prefer a bigger garden for the ceremony). Packages start at 200k for 100 pax including food.

-Mahogany Place Tagaytay: it's nice. Not "wow" nice but I like how the venue has a high ceiling. Venue rental is beyond our budget though, nasa 140k yung garden + big hall rental. Food not included.

-Aquila Crystal Palace: This is one of my biggest disappointments. I was excited to see the place kasi ang ganda in photos but in real life it's really small. And I find the packages to be too expensive for such a small venue. The "palace" looks big in photos but maliit lang talaga sya in real life. Packages start at 295k for 100 pax pero marami na siyang inclusions like food, etc.

-Villa Ibarra: I love how they can open the glass walls of the venue for a better view of Taal. They also have reasonably priced packages, starting at 129k for the food plus 60k for the venue. If you want a good view of Taal and space is not a big issue for you, I think this is a good deal already. We will be having a food tasting event with them this November 12.

-Bali Village Hotel: I almost forgot that we went to this place for an ocular until i checked my notepad again. I wasn't impressed. Maybe hindi lang ako mahilig sa Bali inspired architecture, and medyo masikip din sya for me (I really prefer gardens and/or farms).

-The Veranda at Bella Rosa Farm: THIS IS IT. That's what we both felt ni H2B when we went here. This was featured in Bride and Breakfast so we tried to go here before umuwi. Ito na yung last na tiningnan namin and we were really satisfied with what we saw. It looks so laidback, there's ample space, and it seems perfect for rustic weddings. The guy who assisted us was also really nice. I really liked that they have a greenhouse din which we can use for photo ops and ang ganda ng bridal suites nila. Overnight stay is also reasonable. The AE said that mag eexpand pa sila next year so gaganda pa lalo yung lugar but I already love it. Pasok din sya sa current budget namin for the venue (75k to 110k na yung maximum investment if ever and they only do one event per day).

The only catch is that they do not allow outside stylists. Sila mismo will provide the events styling and the flowers because they also own a company that supplies the flowers for the wedding. I am okay with it because I loved the photos in their website naman and I'm not very particular about styling basta maganda na yung venue on its own. Feeling ko kasi minsan hindi worth it to spend 100k on styling lang for a wedding. We'd rather spend it on more food booths or P&V na lang ni H2B.

Now I need some help mga sis. I just want to know if Passion Cooks can be flexible sa pricing nila ng per person sa catering? We dont need their styling naman eh just the food. We really want to get them as our caterer because of positive feedbacks saka accredited sila ng Veranda but parang di kaya ng budget. :(

Hi Sis @atnep I am a Feb2018 bride too! Sa Tagaytay rin! :) We have booked Casa De Corazon for our wedding venue, on going construction pa siya actually.

We also considered Passiok Cooks, I have their rates and packages.  I can send it to you if you want.  Pero out of budget for us.  100k difference from L&J, which we are also considering.  K by Cunanana is well known here sa GT, you may check them out too.

So far church and venue pa lang meron ako. Are we late? hehe

Depende siguro sis kung in demand yung nirooroot mong P/V team  :) with my chosen video team, included na talaga ang aerial shoot di siya add-on. So it really depends.  :) Pero one thing is for sure, habang mas later mas mahal (let's say last quarter of the year, ibibigay nila yun next year price nila when you could have paid previous year's rate).

Sa chapel on the hill ang church sis then sa balai taal ang preps to reception. :) nakuha kong p/v mura lang lero they seem promising we booked them sa tagaytay bridal fair last oct2. Innographs ang name. 65k photo and video na with prenup, aerial, save the date video. 6 manpower nasa package pero on the day baka hanggang 10. Dagdag sa crew meals pero ok lang atleast covered halos lahat ng angles :) you can search them sa fb. Very light and fresh ang shots nila.

^^I've seen and inquire to innographs din haha! Kaya talagang gusto ko umatend ng bridal fair because of freebies.
