Hi all! Registered here to share my knowledge regarding Anello
If you have friends going to Japan, they have the lowest rates for original Anello bags. But please tell them that even in Japan there are lots of knock offs so better advise them to go to the official stores / sellers.
I saw this backpack online since last Nov 2016 and really wanted one because I've been searching for a "perfect bag" for my everyday use for years. I am one who doesn't like to change bags every now and then. I use one bag until it's worn out. SO... I tried to search this product from PH online stores but it's really hard to tell who sells the authentic ones. I always check the reviews. I saw happy monday, "anello ph" from Davao, bagmaster, etc. Reviews are easy to be invented, though I know there are some legit sellers but not sure if items are authentic. I read on twitter also that she got scammed by an online Anello seller.
I almost and was very tempted to buy 1 from Bagmaster PH last December when they were in a bazaar. Good thing they don't have the color I wanted therefore I told myself to controlllll, because I also saw that they don't have one feature of an authentic bag which I was looking for:
I have an 2 officemates who bought the backpacks from Japan and observed the qualities of a legit Anello backpack. Buttons, zippers and logos are hard to differentiate but there's one thing that's easy -
Same as the info where I saw somewhere, when you look in the *inner side* of the tag inside the bag (which is kinda hard to look at and read) there is a code. Remember, the product tag inside the bag, aside from the code outside, look at the INNER side. I hope i made myself clear

I saw one store selling Anello backpacks for php1200 in a small mall and they don't have that code. Definitely fake.

Then, I have another officemate who recently bought one large boston 2 way leather from primadeli.ph (Instagram) and they do have that "inside code of the inside tag". Their prices are low compared to HK and SG. Php1899 for canvas large backpack, 2199 for the nylon large, around 2300 for the boston 2 way leather. I think it's possible to have prices at that range as I also checked that it's lower to get the bags directly from carrot.co, if ever they get their's there.

I bought my nylon blue large backpack from HK anello store in Tsim Sha Tsui (legit store from anello's website) at HKD460 (around 2800-2900 pesos). Their canvas large is at HKD430 (php2734) so they really cost higher there but for the sake of peace of mind, I bought mine there. Both black and blue nylon are very good looking but i wanted to use this backpack for office and casual use, and the blue looks like black at night / from afar therefore I chose it. Large boston 2 way bags are sold out there.

The leather version looks good but I don't recommend to use in the Philippines because of the weather here. It will surely expire / loose it's quality sooner than expected.

Please note that these are my observations, the code is what I have consistently seen in backpacks bought from official stores but not sure if this is really accurate. Haven't seen the Anellos from happy monday in person so it's really hard to tell, but I also inquired from them. If you know someone who bought from them, try to request them to check the inner tag.
