^Tried their video service for my daughter's 1st birthday in 2011. Ok naman, nothing special pero prompt ang delivery nila. Mejo na-late sila nung event kaya akala ko hinde sila na-book ni Shakey's.

My baby is turning 2. Planning it to be held in mcdo. May affordable  rate ba for kiddie parties na pv for 2hours lang. Namahalan kc ako sa mga >5k.

^ try Photo Streamer 4500 for 3-4 hrs. Sila nakuha ko sa binyag ni baby, not really my first or 2nd choice na parehas unavailable sa date ko, sila na lang kasi nahanap kong available for that rate. Hinde naman ako nagsisi
Ok yung photographer, mabait, magalang, punctual basta maayos magtrabaho.
Maganda naman output, simple lang binyag ni baby wala masyadong ganap but madami dami din yung pictures.

I once got this group Mixology/ MixedMotion for a photo-video coverage, The package I availed isn't cheap for a baptism & bday coverage but unfortunately 8 months na wala pa din yun album and video ng event. Not really your money's worth. Doesn't respond to calls/messages and the so called layout presented is so ordinary and plain. Once the event is done wala na din yun contact, you need to follow up what already happened. Soooo disappointed!

hello mommies! JV ALL EVENTS Photography top photo and video supplier sila sa kabila (smartparenting phils). si sir jun pa din would take photos sometimes kapag requested siya and as usual the staffs are all professional and talagang have years of experience na, i asked din kasi dun sa fb page nila.

natakot ako sa nabasa ko na ang daming batang photog tapos nasayang lang yung event dahil walang matinong shots. kaya super happy ako with JV, will definitely hire them again!

I got Obscura X for my daughter's 7th bday party last Saturday and they came out with the teaser shots na yesterday and they're soooo nice! I'm very happy so far and I can't wait for the final output.

Hi! I noticed that the popular photo-video teams for kids' birthdays are very different from who is popular in the wedding industry, no? So if none of them are super established (who have been doing it for decades), how do you mommies discern who among them to trust? Talaga bang rely lang on online reviews?

I noticed kasi that there have been a fair amount of warnings in the previous thread not to book this and that, even more than recommendations. And I of course have become hesitant given that there seem to be more "horror" P/V suppliers for birthdays than weddings.

I'm looking for a 1-2 man photo team for a birthday celebration of 150 pax. But after reading through threads I'm now thinking of sourcing that supplier from the wedding industry, possibly the junior photogs who did our wedding. What do you think?

^I think sis, it's a matter of specialization. May mga photographers/videographers kasi na mas gamay ang Kiddie, yung iba, Weddings. Mas mahirap i-shoot ang bata sa totoo lang. And it would take a lot of patience lalo na if baby (turning 1). More so yung mga toddlers (age 2 to 4) kasi malikot na at naglalakad. I'm talking based in first-hand experience. My husband is a photographer and we started sa weddings but nowadays, mas marami kami kiddie. Mas forte ata namin ang bata. Besides, mas mabilis ang work-flow ng kiddie (from pre-bday to turn-over).

You have a point too sis, have to consider na dapat magaling enough yung photog regardless what industry sya galing so that he can handle a birthday.

I forgot to mention na adult naman yung may birthday sakin so di naman magulo yung pictorial unlike kung kiddie party siguro.

Hay, still on the lookout for a photog. Way cheaper ang birthday photog rates but still worried abt the reviews. My hubby, who is an avid photographer, also said malayo daw skill level and equipment nung inendorse ko na wedding photog vs. about 8 birthday photogs i got from here. So mababalik yata ako sa wedding photog for this event.

We got Tina Magallon seven years ago for my panganay's first birthday. Ok ang output, took 3 months to deliver the photo and video nga lang and hindi nag-uupdate unless asked.

When my pangany turned 7 last Nov.2017, we got Tina again kasi ok naman results and pasok pa rin sa budget ang rate. We got photography service lang this time. Ok ang preshoot but Tina wasn't able to shoot the actual party kasi may emergency "daw." She sent someone pero baguhan so hindi kami happy with the results.

Last week we celebrated my bunso's first birthday and got Obscura X. Saw the teaser shots today and we're happy with the photos.. now i regret that i didn't get them last Nov. Mas mahal pa naman rate ni Tina Magallon than Obscura x.

We got obscura x din for my daughter's 8th birthday and baptismal of baby boy namin. Hopefully maganda results. I shipped din to them kaso DVD copy Lang included sa package. I don't like DVD copies dahil pag na scratch sira na. I was choosing between peekzel kids something and obscura and when I watch both works I saw that was nakukuha ng obscura yung mag candid moments which I was looking for in a photographer. I also like their MTV version. Will update this thread once we got the pics.

We booked For Keeps for our daughter?s Baptism. Buti available pa yung photo coverage nila on our chosen date. I knew them because of the good reviews sa GT. Sana maging okay talaga ang output. So far very pleasant sila kausap. 😊

I got the final output of Obscura X for my daughter's 7th. Okay naman although nakulangan ako sa ibang shots ng venue kase hinde nila nakuhanan yung mga ceiling decors na sobrang nice pa naman. The video naman mejo madilim pero feeling ko naman kase kasalanan ko na yon dahil I didn't get additional lighting along with the mobile system, mejo maulan pa naman nung hapon na yon and pa-gabi na din.
