true, nkakahighblood nga. since sa sept pa ang trip namin to Sydney, ito palang ang nasa list ko:

^also try Gelato Messina. Pancakes On The Rocks yes mahal pero malaki naman ang serving.

Even McDonald's and KFC are expensive. Good thing they've got weekly instore deals. Hungry Jacks (aka Burger King) is cheaper than McDonalds. Food courts in Chinatown are cheap. Cafes naman mix of mahal and mura.

Re Madang; never been there, I go to Korean restos outside the CBD. Very competitive kasi madami Korean restos, hind na lugi sa side dishes about 3 to 4 depends on how many you order. Pag BBQ meat most of them have minimum orders of 2 servings.

Kung pwede lang kayo magluto sa accommodation niyo, bili na lang kayo ng steaks, sauce and veggies from Woolies and Coles to eat at night.

If you want to splurge a bit, a buffet at Starcity casino will be good, basta Weekday lunch and Weeknight dinner.

Fish market if you want seafood pero dami turista din agawan sa upuan; mga seagulls din bwisit nang-aagaw pagkain.

Next week na yung Sydney trip namin. Mabilis lang naapprove yung tourist visa namin, the following day approved na. Dito kami sa SG nagapply.
Eto nagaayos na ng itinerary namin. Plan namin mag 1 day tour sa Blue Mountains via train and then mag Explorer bus na lang kami.
Any idea normally how much ang isang meal sa Sydney? Enough na kaya yung 15-20 dollars/meal per person tapos 3x a day?

^More than enough. Ganyan meal price sa mga mid-ranged restos, parang steak, salad and chips (no drinks), a bowl of ramen in a restaurant or a burger in a café. Below $10 meal per person pwede na ang Subway, KFC, McDonalds.

I checked the website of Sydney Opera House, meron sila dun 1 hour tour for like 30 dollars, sulit kaya? or ok na magpicture picture na lang kami sa labas.

^Mura sa Paddys Market in Haymarket Chinatown, dollar shops (meron in Haymarket, sa building where Paddys is, on the top floor next to the food court), or Daiso (parang may souvenirs din sila but hindi madami selection); souvenir shops malaki din patong minsan. Chocolates just go to Woolworths and Coles. Worth it naman iyong guided tour sa loob if you are into art, architecture, etc, last visitors namin enjoyed it kasi hilig naman nila.

sis charmed30, yey exciting! springtime na halos. dami na naglalabasang wildflowers, damo pa lang picturesque na. about ba kayo sa showing ng Aladdin musical?

^Chat Thai; fusion siya ng Aussie and Thai food but it is good, I used to go there for take away lunch of noodles but have to watch what I eat now, lagi madami pila so be patient na lang lalo na sa tapat lang siya ng Capitol theatre where Aladdin is showing, ibang theatregoers pipila rin sa Chat Thai. Along that street, Thainatown. If you go further (towards Castlereagh and Elizabeth, may mga iba pang Thai restaurants doon. They also have a sister resto, Boon Café, Thai café naman with some groceries, near Chat Thai but in Pitt Street. Meron naman doon small shop selling Chinese dimsums, siopao, etc.

^sis cind3r3lla, yup sis nabalitaan ko nga din yung aladdin sa capitol theatre. Not sure if we can fit in pero super hilig ko manood ng play/musical kaso si hubby hindi niya type.

Aug 25 - Arrive in Sydney Intl Airport @ 11:15 AM. We will take a cab/uber from the airport to our AirBNB accommodation. Mga 5 mins away from Green Square station.

Meron naman mga kainan dun sa area ng Bondi no? Para pwede kami mag-lunch dun.

^http://www.transportnsw.info/ To plan your trip to Bondi. Forget Kings Cross, aside from being a red light district, there's not much to see there. Kayo na rin bahala, nasa vicinity lang naman ng Hyde Park. Check the weather too, forecast rain on Friday. Re Paddys, I think they close at 6PM, better to go on a weekend kasi mas madami stalls. Featherdale is not within the city centre (malayo din from Blue Mountains); kung gusto niyo lang naman photo op with a koala or kangaroo, sa Darling Harbour there's Sydney Wildlife, maliit lang naman pero good for photos.

Thanks sis ataypool and rocky. Koala and kangaroo photo op lang talaga habol ko so dun na lang kami sa Sydney Wildlife kesa magbyahe pa kami ng malayo.
Yung sa paddy haymaket, I saw na may free shuttle to-from central station. baka yan din I-try namin.

sis cind3r3lla, balak namin mag explorer bus when we arrive in Katoomba. dun sa website nila, meron sila sample itinerary for Blue Mountains for a day.

^Yes. Umuulan but getting into spring so temp's cold still. Coat and sweater okay maski wala na Heatech underneath (except when going to Bondi or the Blue Mountains, mas malamig doon).
