^sa Czarina ko nagpapalit mas okay yung rates. Also, wag kayo magpapalit sa Japan. Yung cousin ko dun nagpapalit same lang kami ng amount pero mas mababa nakuha niya.

Kakauwi ko lang from Japan and super ganda! <3 We skipped the usual Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka and went to Chubu region instead and visited their less explored places. My favorite would be Takayama city, sobrang tahimik and ang daming pwedeng puntahan even just by walking. We also got to see Shirakawago and the 300 year old Gassho houses, the out-of-this world Kurobe dam and the magical Winter Illumination at Nabana no Sato.  We even got to to experience snow in Tateyama! I wish I could post pics here para makita niyo. I hope people can explore Japan outside of Disneyland and USJ and outside of Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. There is so much more to Japan than those areas.

^Chubu Region's one of my fave too! What's their theme for this years tunnel (the one after Nabana No Sato)? Been going there consecutively for the last two years so I'm thinking of skipping it now (2016 it was autumn, 2017 was cherry blossoms). Been to Shirakawa-go, Gokayama and Takayama and enjoyed playing in the snow. Sunod ko na Tateyama and the Kurobe Alpen Route pag nakakuha na ako ng tickets for October para naman autumn.

^sis, what mode of transpo did you choose for your trip to Takayama -Shirakawago? Was is a day trip only?  Thinking of going there when we visit Nagoya. I will be with my kids so I am looking at different options na medyo convenient for us. Thanks!

^Got tours from Yokoso Japan. When I went there kasi Shirakawago Light Up (Jan 2018) and Gokayama Light Up (Feb 2017), so punuan yung mga bus.

I'm not skiing because of my neck problem but I really want to see Niseko's powder snow. Is it worth it to stay here overnight? Pwede din ba pumasok sa ski resort at mag people watch lang? Haha. Seriously very relax tong trip na to.

Gusto ko sana yung room ko may view ng Mt Yotei and Mt Annupuri pero yung hindi naman kasing mahal ng Ki Niseko Hotel haha.

Day 7 (Departure) - December 15, 2018
Flight back to Tokyo (4:00 PM)

Sis, Winter Illuminatioms sila this year kaya pak na pak and mas feel mo yung Christmas. Also, I suggest itime niyo yung punta niyo para sa Tateyama Route kasi although masaya naman yung snow nakakalungkot na wala na kami nakita na views sa Murodo, ang ganda pa naman ng nakita namin sa pics yung views sa spring time

@sis kachich - sis we took the train from Nagoya to Takayama and then did the halfday tour with iSite tours tapos nagstay kami for two days sa Takayama para maexplore namin. Take note na sasabihan ka lang nila kung ano yung mga pupuntahan pero hindi talaga siya guided tour. Maganda yung Shirakawago sa winter pag lighted.

Mga sis just got back from our Japan trip. super na-inlove kami ni hubby sa Japan. we're thinking to go back on January na agad. wrong impression po ba sa embassy to re-apply visa again? single entry lang po kasi kami and planning to apply for ME this time. TIA

Sis, we went to Sapporo December last year, around Christmas time...
Sapporo lang kami, with side trip to Otaru and Asahiyama for Asahikawa Zoo (my kids loved the penguin parade )

Sa Day 1 mo, I can't comment kasi di kami pumunta ng Jozankei...
Sa Day 2, di ko sure if possible because when we went to Otaru, we only went to Otaru Catholic Church (it was Christmas Day kasi that time so talagang naghanap kami ng church), Music Box Museum, Kitaichi Hanazono and Otaru Canal... sa Sakaimachi Dori maraming shops at syemper ubos oras din sa kain, tikim at pamimili ng pasalubong (there's Le Tao, Rokkatei and Kitakaro)... not to mention na yung araw na andun kami, may snowstorm... we waited for more than 2 hours for the trains to resume operation... we haven't been to the other two places you have mentioned
Sa Day 3, we did the Moiwayama on our own... that was after we went to Shiroi Koibito Park... We did not go to Okurayama... palagay ko pwede naman syang DIY....
Sa Day 4, I think doable sya... we did not go to the Hokkaido Shrine though... yung Hokkaido Village and Sapporo Beer Garden din we did on the same day... we also availed of the eat-all-you-can (Genghis Khan) sa Sapporo Beer Garden. We asked our hotel to make a reservation for us. We were 2 adults with 2 kids then. Palagay ko pwede naman yung eat-all-you can kahit mag isa ka lang.

Can't comment further on your Days 5 and 6 kasi we did not go to Niseko... next time maybe.
Balak ko din isama ang Biei and Furano...pero gusto ko lavender season...

Hello sis @travelling_daisy thank you so much sa reply.  Jetstar yung airline. Nakuha ko yung tickets last week lang for 5K RT. Not sure if this is cheap kasi hindi sya promo fare.

I might DIY Mt. Moiwa na lang siguro kung makapag unli Genghis Khan naman ako sa Sapporo Beer Excited na ako grabe! Sana may snow na pero wag naman mag snow storm

^ I think okay na yung P5k na RT fare. That's from/to Tokyo right?  Nag-Tokyo din kasi kami before after Sapporo. We spent 3 days there before heading back to Manila.  Enjoy your winter trip!
If you have more time, you might also want to check out Nijo Market and the Ramen Alley in Susukino. Have fun, sis!

^Yes, that's from Tokyo sis. 9 days muna ako sa Tokyo then Sapporo. Will definitely check out Nijo Market and Ramen Alley. Food-focused din kasi ang trip ko
