I'm not sure if this has been asked before. Can I be the one to fill out the application form for my mom and sister's DS160? I'm based in the US now and I don't know if I can do that part for them and if I can pay over here too. TIA!

Mga sis please help. ilang beses na kami nagattempt magapply ni hubby pero hindi kami matuloy kasi nagiisip kami if ever hingan kami ng documents ano papakita niya.
 
Profile ni hubby:

1. May dati siya computer shop pero closed na. may ITR siya na-under pa din sa compshop niya pero finafile lang namin sa BIR but walang income stated kasi closed na. hindi namin masara kasi dami hinihingi ng BIR.
2. May paupahan siya pero hindi pa nakaregister pero may mga lease of contract siya.
3. sakanya nakapangalan yung lupa at bahay and may car kami.
4. citizen ang mom niya sa US. (kailangan pa ba naming humingi ng invitation letter sknya?)
5. ako, employed naman for 4 years, maghanda na lang ako ITR and COE?

Please help mga sis ano dapat namin iprepare just incase maghanap ng documents. Gusto kasi namin magvisit sa mother in law ko. TIA.

I think naman with your sister?s health, may added push yun sa consul to give you visa. Basta show them lang her medical records or appointments and tell them you would want to be there for her emotional support and assistance as her sister, not as caregiver. Iwas lang sa any answer na magmumukhang babayaran ka ng sister mo to take care of her.

thank you sis. tagal ko pala di nakapag-check dito hahaha nakakita ako ng emergency appointment, pero sa ustraveldocs na site, i'm not sure tuloy kung part ng usembassy na site sya. pero yun na lang ita-try namin. sobrang busy di namin lahat naasikaso, and done na tuloy chemo nya, but she will have her operation this 28th. naku goodluck kung makayanan namin itong emergency thing na ito.

help mga sis!  will try for a US visa na din this year and lost ako.  nasa step 1 pa lang ako which is the DS 160 form.

background:  my husband is a lawyer, no previous us visa application.  ako housewife, was denied a us visa years ago when i applied pa with my parents.  we have a 5 year old, wala pa din history of visa application.

questions:  1.  what are the documents i need?  talaga bang hindi na kailangan ng mga bagong NSO birth certificates and marriage certs?  kasi wala naman ako nakikita na required yung mga yun.  should i still prepare?
2.  how soon ba usually nakakakuha ng appointment from the time na magsubmit ng request?  makakapili ka ba ng dates or i-a-assign sayo?
3.  paano ba mag-group apply?  saan part sya nakikita na group?  tama ba intindi ko na ds-160 you fill out individually?  tapos dun sa application for schedule ng appointment ka may ilalagay na group application sya?

^ sis last week Monday ako nagset ng appointment, earliest available is Tuesday this week, yes , ikaw pipili ng gusto mong date and slot.  After you make the payment and naprocess (may take hours after paying), just need yung receipt number mo then makakapagset ka na ng appointment online, magoopen na yung Calendar for you to select.

^^Technically walang need ng documents, they advice you to bring docs that you think will help prove the details on your form but most of the times the consuls don't ask for it. I ready mo na lang rin para sure -- the usual lang like birth cert/marriage cert if family kayo, bank cert, business registration, COE, etc.

Sa schedule, you can choose basta may available na slot. Available schedules can be in one week, sometimes one month, depende.

sabagay, i never brought birth cert din sa previous ko. kinakabahan lang kase ako ma-deny again. if ever, this is my 3rd try to renew my visa na ma-deny. so, sana naman ma-grant na. tutal kaya lang naman ako magta-try again because of my sister na ooperahan and need ng makakasama/tulong. haaay. thanks sis

got denied for my emergency appointment. kakalungkot, appointment pa lang, denied na. di nako umaasa makakuha ng visa. but my original appointment will be on friday, sana ma-grant naman. ang mahal mahal ng fee and my sister needs me. wish me luck.

agree with sis simang, if di naman nila tinanong, wag nyo na sabihin. basta kung ano lang itatanong nila, yon lang din sasagutin nyo. you dont want to look defensive din naman. just prepare your supporting docs lang. kung hingin, pakita nyo, if tanungin, sagutin nyo. goodluck!
