Pa-join ako sa usapan nyo sis shyxenia. Like na like ko rin ang Thailand, particularly Phuket. Meron na nga akong target hotel dun e. Haha! I tried booking din nung nagkaroon ng seat sale, ang mura ng Thailand!! Kaso ayaw ni h2b ng international honeymoon. Gusto nya puntahan muna namin yung mga beach na hindi pa namin napuntahan dito sa Pinas. So I tried to book Coron during seat sale, since nirereserve na rin naman namin tong destination na to for our honeymoon, unfortunately, sobrang mahal ng fare kahit naka-promo. Mas mahal pa sa Thailand. Kaloka lang!!!

Hi sis! Di ba mas mura Thailand? kaya gusto ko dun saka dami talaga pwede puntahan from Bangkok to Phuket and meron din Chiang Mai ata yun maganda din pwede ivisit yung zoo na puro Tiger ata yun haha!
Gusto ko kasi marami pwede picturan then my magagandang beach din!

Pero yun lang iniisip ko baka nakakapagod haha! pag ba mga Coron o Palawan beach lang noh? Pero gusto ko din dun. Hirap pumili hahaha! Ikaw sis  day after the wedding punta na din kayo honeymoon? Ilan days kayo?

Korek sis, dami maganda puntahan sa Thailand. Pero target namin talaga is beach. Both kasi kami ni h2b na beach lover.

Mga 3 days after the wedding ang plan namin sis. Then target namin is 4D/3N, max na yung 5D/4N na honeymoon.
Yes sis, puro beach ang Palawan, enjoy naman. Fave namin ang El Nido. Hihi.
Eto ang plan namin, gusto namin na maging chillax trip yung honeymoon namin. Naghahanap kami ng magandang hotel with malawak na pool.
Nagpa-quote na kami sa Sheridan-Puerto Princesa and Amorita-Panglao Bohol. Gusto namin pareho. Waiting pa kami sa rates ng Coron and still searching for hotel, wala pa napupusuan.

Kayo ba sis, ano na mga napag-inquire-an nyo?

Ok na din pala kahit maximum 5 days noh? From Manila by plane lang pwede noh? by plane ba ano pinaka ok at safe na airlines sa atin if I want to get to Palawan or Bohol?
If Bohol kaya sis kasi Nabasa ko din yang sa Panglao na maganda ang beach then  meron din pwede pasyalan around there kaya?

hi sis pogi02 and shyxiena! ang saya naman ng usapan dito honeymoon na! eto lang ata ang di nakakstress na iresearch at ibook sa wedding preps. hehe

Anyway, mura nga nung thailand last seat sale pogi02, sana bnook mo na kahit ayaw ni hubby tapos pinilit mo hahahaha.. I almost booked thailand din pero naghahanap kasi ako ng another country after that and wala akong makitang mura. unlike yung bali-SG parang 1,500 lang fare namin.

Shyxiena, maganda both ang bohol and el nido, but mas maganda el nido. Kaya lang you should consider your time kasi halos one day ang i-allot mo sa byahe to el nido from puerto princesa airport. 6 hours by land kasi. unless you have the means naman, may direcho from manila to el nido, mas mahal nga lang ang airfare.

Suggestion lang. hennan in bohol is so nice din. sa el nido, the resorts are not so luxurious unless mag el nido resorts ka which is 20k/night.

Kami din, gusto namin sa bali sa villa lang, kahit one day tour lang sa labas then relax lang talaga. "The art of doing nothing" vs. daming tour. I'll go for the first since honeymoon ang pinunta namin dun!

^sis sa tagaytay sana with not more than 70guests. Venue pa lang 70k na yung karamihan. Nakakabaliw. Haha! Any suggestions?

May hotel/resort na kayo napili sa SG? I suggest Siloso Beach Resort sa Sentosa. Ang ganda, super relaxing.

Malayo nga ang travel by land from Puerto Princesa to El Nido, pero worth it naman.

Hennan in Bohol is my brother's project din before, (sobrang proud ate na talaga ko dito, hahaha!) we inquired na rin doon pero mas gusto namin Amorita, and magkatabi lang silang dalawa.

Sis shyxiena, ang laki naman pala ng budget nyo, mag-out of the country na kayo. Kami nga 50k lang e. Hahaha! And gusto ko pa lower down yun pero mukang impossible kasi yung mga hotels/resorts na gusto namin is medyo pricey.

Yes sis nakausap ko na yung bride nakapagbook sa casino filipino. Parang 20-30mins din yung travel time mula sa church sis. Yung isang nakita ko naman 45mins away from the church, 20k naman perp maganda yung pavillion. Pwede ko na iconsider kahit malayo.

I'm barely new here. And my wedding is in April 2017 pa. I started booking my church last January then medyo kinareer ko na, after 3 mos we've booked some of our major suppliers. Reception, P/V, Invitations, HMUA and now yung wedding coordinator.

I need your help sana, any la belle fete bride to be here? I'm about to book them as my wedding coordinator, medyo pricey kaya I just wanna make sure they are worth it.

2nd, just any excited bride to be, sa first bridal fair na inattendan ko, nagbook ang ng HMUA, kaso I found someone who's better than him. I just don't know paano sasabihin sa kanya na I will no longer avail of his services because of the following reasons:

1. If ginawa ko sya HMUA for my entourage Im sure he will refuse as our contract indicates I should pay him 30k for his service. For sure I will no longer pay him the remaining balance kasi nga entourage na lang, and baka makakuha pa sya ng booking na bago. so TY na lang sana ang 2k na down ko.

2. I can sense na he is after the money and assurance, he might say na sana sinabi ko earlier because he could've book other brides, is one year before enough? Hindi naman short notice right?

I just dont know how to break the news to him. I've read some reviews and he has attitude daw. Pati assistant nya even shared during the bridal fair na they feel bad kapag nagcacancel brides kasi sayang yung time nila.

Wow! Nawala lang ako for a few weeks at bagong bahay na pala. My wedding preps had to take a backseat for a while since I had to focus on a major career break but it's done already and I'm back to business so to speak. We finally were able to do food tasting with the three accredited caterers of our venue and three non-accredited caterers. (Yes, naisingit ko yung food tasting!) Thanks a lot to our sisses here who encouraged me to try the three accredited caterers and wag masyado malungkot sa fact na hindi sila mga kilalang caterers or sa fact na hindi kasama sa accredited yung mga matunog sa wedding industry.

What my fiance and I did was to sample the more popular ones like Hizon's and Juan Carlo the Caterer so that we'll be able to compare them with our accredited caterers. H2B didn't exactly like Hizon's. Masyado na raw common sa panlasa niya yung food nila kasi lagi raw Hizon's yung caterer sa mga weddings na naattendan na niya. Juan Carlo is the best among those we tried pero di kaya ng budget since it's going to be a big but budgeted wedding. Among our three accredited caterers, Patio de Tata Roque was the one that stood out. Kusina ni Kambal which my friend gave a good feedback disappointed me to think that I was hungry that day we went for a food tasting. I wasn't able to attend the food tasting of Evelyn's Catering but my H2B and his sister weren't satisfied. Pang-kiddie party yung food na pinatikim kasi kiddie party yung paghahandaan but of course, hindi naman mga bata lang ang kakain nun plus it was for an actual event. My H2B who, apparently is more critical of food than I do was really disappointed. So-so lang daw yung lasa. So we're ending up getting Patio de Tata Roque instead. I just hope they deliver well on the day itself.

Hello sis kaitlynmischa, re: your HMUA, how can you say na he is after the money lang? For me, if you are already decided to cancel your booking, go ahead and tell him that you found another HMUA that suits your taste. In a nice way nalang. Okay lang naman mag-cancel, wag mo na patagalin, they have the right to know since they have already reserved the date for you, with this they can open pa the slot for other brides. Can you share who is this HMUA?
Lesson learned nalang sis, wag basta basta mag-book sa bridal fair, very overwhelming kasi dun. Better research first.


sis shyxiena, ang ganda diba? High-end kasi ang Hennan kaya ang taas din ng ratings. Yun lang ang hindi ko sure kung malapit ba yung mga tourist spots na nasabi ko. Hindi pa ko nakapag-gala sa Bohol. Hihi.
Re: Thai Baht, less than 2php lang ang exchange value nya, so hindi sya nalalayo sa Php. When I travel abroad, I don't usually bring foreign currency. Dun na ko nagpapapalit. Usually, sa airport naman madami ng money changer and hindi ako all out magpapalit, yung sakto lang. Sayang kasi pag hindi mo naubos then papapalit mo ulit to Php, sometimes lugi kana. But some people would prefer exchange their money here in the Phils before going outside the country. So it's up to you pa rin sis kung ano prefer mo.

Hi kaitlynmischa! I think better tell him now kung talagang sure ka na na di mo na siya kukunin. But better be sure muna ha, baka mamaya kasi mas gusto mo pala siya ulit parang yun ang mas nakakahiya. I think okay lang din naman, hindi lang ikaw ang kauna-unahang bride na nagcancel. Yun nga lang, goodbye na sa DP mo yun usually. But at least 2k lang! Happy preps!

Hi sissies!!! pogi02 and itsKat yeah I will tell him na lang. Bridal fairs are indeed overwhelming, kaya I am too careful na. I'm not sure if its okay to share his name, he's good din naman and I think I was at fault here hehe. He's into money, I've read lang from other forums but its kind of true kasi after the DP, after a week they want you to make a DP again tapos meron pang every quarter, some kasi you'll pay the rest months before your wedding. Anyways, ok lang naman its just that I found somebody else. Thank you!!!

BTW, I'm booking Mariah Santos as replacement. Winner talaga sya!



I am done booking major suppliers:

Edsa Shang as reception, Mango Red as my photographer, Treehouse story for video, Mel Orlina for my bridal gown and  La Belle fete as my coordinator. Ito kasi yung mga non negotiable for me. The rest of suppliers to book, I'm looking for a more budget friendly and hindi masyadong pricey!

I'm new here and everything about weddings. Help please mga ladies. Sa sobrang kakulitan ko 3 reps from Palazzo verde ang nag email sa akin about their packages. Do I choose from them ba kung sino ang magiging AE ko? if yes, sino kina Cyril, Paula and Hannah? Hirap kasi ako mag ayos dahil overseas ako hindi alam mga kalakaran. If not for this girltalk I almost contracted Dhon Conwi of Weddings&Motifs for our Coordinator but after reading negative feedbacks from the ladies here natakot ako so I will opt to Shayne na lang.
