Hi! Anyone here had bethametasone (dipruspan) injections?

Going 7 mos and OB fears that I might go into preterm labor. OB suggests to have 4 injections to help baby's lung mature.

^sis ako I will take betamethasone next week pero 2 shots lang with 24 hrs interval. Dahil nga nag threatened preterm labor ako at 28 weeks and 6 days. Pinapa fetal 2d echo nya din ako for good measure lang kasi diabetic ako. When ka daw saksakan ng betamethasone? Update kita next week.

Hello mga Sis! nag back read ako. Ako din sumakit yung tyan ko sobra kaya nagdecide ako na wag pumasok sa office. Then nung nagpa check up kami advise ni doc na mag bed rest until delivery and niresetahan ako ng Duvadilan for 1 week. I'm currently at 33 weeks nung nangyari yun. Nakakalungkot lang kasi parang ang aga ko ata mag ML. Oct 17 ang due date. Though nung una Oct 23 daw then na move ng Oct 17.

With regards sa gamit ni baby. Puro Onesies nabili ko and pajama. Mga ilang tiesides ba kailangan ko? and also frogsuits para sa pantulog ni baby.

Speaking of breast pump, nahihirapan ako maghanap ng adapter ng avent single electric breast pump. Nasira na yung sakin before, ang mahal pa naman ng breast pump.

I had my utz, urinalysis and cbc last tuesday. Kaloka si ob-sonologist, wala man lang ka-latoy latoy. Nagmamadali kasi umalis, parang robot lang. May mild UTI ako, tsk. Akala ko ligtas na ako this pregnancy sa UTI, sa first born ko kasi every urinalysis ko palagi meron. Ngayon lang ako nagka-uti this pregnancy kung kailan malapit na mangitlog.

Hello soon to be mommies! I've been a silent reader for a while now. Have learned a lot and have been inspired by your posts.

I'm 29 weeks and 2 days already. Been on complete bed rest for more than two months now because of unpredictable spotting due to placenta previa Totalis plus a cervical polyp too. My pregnancy journey has not been easy but all your posts here have helped a lot. Grabe ang hirap ma bed rest! Andami ko naiisip. I'm such a worrywart pa naman.

I can't prepare for baby stuff and our hospital bag too since bathroom lang ang chance ko to get up. All meals, from bed pa rin. Although my doctor cleared me to walk around the house every so often, natatakot ako to follow kasi bigla na lang ako nag s-spots ng fresh blood. Thankfully, wala na ulit episode ng spotting for almost 3 weeks now, fingers crossed. Buti I can rely on my mom to shop for me kaya nag lista na ako ng lahat ng kailangan namin. Mga major stuff like strollers and cribs, padating pa lang din from abroad and sana hindi ma delay ang pag deliver dito sa Pinas.

My partner is abroad and will arrive end of october, hopefully in time sa c-section ko. Araw araw ko na lang kinakausap si baby na hintayin nya ang pagdating ng daddy Nya.

Since last ultra sound one week ago, di pa rin nag move ang placenta ko. I'm hoping we can reach 37 weeks para healthy si baby paglabas. First time mom ako but if there's anything i can share from my experience so far, feel free to ask

Re: the bethamethasone shots, you have to be admitted at the hospital for monitoring since 24 hours apart ang pag administer for each shot. It's a really for the baby's lungs to mature faster, especially if you're expected to have pre-term labor. For me it wasn't painful. You will just feel na ngawit and sore yung arm a few days after. May pag slow down din sa movement ni baby after ma administer lahat ng shots pero babalik naman to normal after a day. Hope this helps!

Hi sis cb_orange! Have you joined our fb page? Pareho tayo totalis, I was diagnosed at 16 weeks. Pero ngaun low lying nalang yung sakin nakita at 29 weeks. Unti unti sya umakyat.

Wala ako bleeding so far. I have been on bedrest since the beginning of the pregnancy kaya super bored na ako sa bahay haha. I had to stop working. Pero not like you na nasa kama at cr lang talaga kasi matapang pa ako dahil walang bleeding. Sabi ng ob ko, admit lang ako if my blood sugar will skyrocket pero as per my endo, increase ko lang ang insulin dose ko by 2 units each sa time na mag betamethasone ako. Sabi din ni ob, elevated ang blood sugar ko for a week after the shots kaya sabi ni endo, maintain higher dose of insulin during that period. 30 weeks na ako today and will inject betamethasone next week.

Mga sis! Pasensya na di ako masyado makarelate sa mga experiences ninyo pero medyo masaya naman ako na hindi ko naeexperience yan. Though sa first baby ko lagi lang ako naka bed rest due to spotting-work related stress kasi. Pero ngayon, bukod sa sobrang uncomfortable na ko sa movement ni baby dahil sa malaki na sya, everything is fine. Wala akong problema (i hope).

November 10 pa ang due date ko pero earliest target delivery ko ay last week ng October. Elective CS.

Iniiwasan ko lang manganak ng October 31, Nov 1 & 2. Dahil sa undas siguro.

Medyo iiwas nako sa laptop kaya baka hindi nako masyado maging active dito, pero I will be very active sa FB Page natin kung okay lang. Medyo nakakahiya lang kasi magingay sa FB page eh baka makaistorbo.

^ano ka ba sis! Pwedeng pwede mag ingay sa fb. Kaya nga tayo gumawa fb para mas makapagchikahan tayo at mas mabilis makapag reply. Dito kasi sa gt wala namang notifications like sa fb hehe. Buti ka nga wala ka problem sa pregnancy mo. magdaldalan tayo sa fb kahit ano pwede nyo ipost dun!

Di rin ako makarelate. Pero kaya super pray ako na pumasa sa ogtt kasi super hassle for me yung magpapaconsult pa sa endo. Ob lang kasi si ob ko ngayon. Unlike yung previous ob ko. Ob-sono-endo-fertility specialist. Kinarir lahat kaya career din sumingil. Kung magpapa endo pako, hirap din isingit sa sched.

Sis cb_orange, may cervical polyp din ako nung first trimester. Pregnancy hormones lang daw ang cause nun kaya bigla na lang din nawala.

So far wala din ako problem sa pregnancy bukod sa ang hirap matulog. Walang posisyon na comfortable. Saka mabilis sumakit balakang ko. Ang sarap magpamassage!! Yun lang talaga motivation ko kaya goal ko ang normal delivery. Magpapamassage talaga ako palagi pag nakalabas na si baby.

Haven't joined the fb page but will do soon. I'm glad na nag move ang placenta mo away from the cervix! I'm still hoping that yung remaining few weeks, mag move kahit konti my placenta kasi last ultra sound, my OB and the senior sonologist commented na sa baba ng placenta ko, likely sya tamaan pag inopen ako during the operation.

The bethamethasone shots will really make your sugar level shoot up for about a week. I had to buy yung blood sugar monitoring parq bantayan sugar ko kasi di ko matuloy tuloy OGTT ko. Ako lang ata ang alam kong talagang di makapag glucose test. Good luck sa shots!

Hi @stylus. Buti din nawala polyp mo. Yung sa akin is still there. Sabi naman ng doctor likely it will be gone after i deliver. Masakit na din balakang ko and back. And yes, as the baby grows, mas hirap na maging comfy. Nocturnal pa naman si baby. Late night super likot.

I'm happy for the mommies here who have no or minimal problems with their pregnancy. Nakakainggit! Minsan i can't help feeling a bit deprived of things i could be doing. Ang saya sana mag shop for my baby's stuff. OC pa naman ako sa pagpili ng mga gamit. But iniisip ko na lang as long as the baby is healthy, happy na ako.

Hi Guys! First Time Mom here

Been a lurker too for a long time at dahil malapit na ko manganak I feel that I should contribute na rin a thing or two about my pregnancy experience. Baby S is our honeymoon baby. I'm on my 36th week now and due date is on October 13 so konting kembot na lang kaya ready na ang hospital bag namen, next check up ko for IE na daw which will be my first time and I'm dreading it kasi balita ko masakit daw yun.

I have pre-gestational diabetes nga pala pamana ng parents ko yung diabetes kaya sabi ni OB no wonder I had it, Thank God nakuha naman sa diet na brown rice hahaha. From CAS to OGTT to daily sugar monitoring thankfully ok naman lahat, ngayon "pagpapatagtag" naman ang issue ko kasi ang effort dahil ang bigat sa feeling maglakad!

Sorry, napahaba ata ang introduction ko hehe, nagrequest pala ko sa facebook to join the group, hope to share more stories with you guys at makita naten ang progress ng isa't-isa thru posts sa fb. Sana ma-update yun labor stories na thread dito It really is a big help lalo na ko na pa labor na.

sis kittyph! sa diet mo and monitoring, ano ang target blood sugar levels mo after meals? buti ka pa nakuha sa diet. sakin naman pamana ng lola ko ang diabetes ko. pre lang din ako before mabuntis pero kailangan na talaga mag insulin sa first trimester palang. ok lang mahabang post sis. kahit sa fb pa hehe tama! mag update tayo dun ng birthing experiences natin kaso mauuna ka ata sis. november pa ako hopefully di mapreterm. buti pa kayo, from wedding to baby agad. kami ang tagal ng paghihintay hehe.

wala pa ako breast leak sis. though 30 weeks 1 day palang naman ako. hindi pa din masakit boobs ko pero may ugat na sya around the nipples. kayo din ba?

sis ville! baka sa sept 22 ako pasaksak beta. update kita san ka buy ng meds? sabi ng ob ko sa mercury nalang daw ako pabili then pasaksak ko sa er.

hi sis! sa tiesides ang binili ko:

6 long sleeves
12 short sleeves
12 sleeveless

wala ako binili masyado ibang damit nya. onesies ko 3 lang. wearable blanket 1 lang. tapos hooded frogsuit isa palang.

sana okay ka na. naka duvadilan din ako from 16 weeks until last tuesday, pinastop ng new ob ko. 29 weeks and 5 days ako nun. so far wala pa naman ako nararamdaman na pain kahit nagstop na ako. 30 weeks and 1 day na ako today.

@damonsgirl may I ask kung sino yun all around OB mo and saan yung clinic nya?

yung sa fasting <90 ang gusto ni endo tapos sa post meal <120 minsan umaabot ako ng mga 127 pero <130 medyo forgivable pa naman daw hehe.

Sa bagay nung around 30th week ko rin parang super naging visible yung veins sa boobs ko pero ngayon wala na as in chill lang yun boobs ko hehe kaya medyo worried ako sa breastfeeding plan ko.

May breast leak na ako nung 26th week, pero 2nd baby ko naman na ito. Nung 1st pregnancy ako, wala akong breast leak nung pregnant ako,  nung nanganak lang. Think positive, magkakamilk ka talaga after mo manganak. hehe

Lalong lumalaki tyan ko mas lalong nagiging uncomfortable ang pag tulog. Ang sakit na ng ribs ko sa left side kaka-left side lying. :-(

Di ako sure sis pero parang nasa 1400 per consultation. Basta everytime nagpapacheck up ako dati, inuultrasound ako kasi specialization nya yun. Sya ang nakakita ng cervical polyp ko. Na kaya pala kahit wala na makitang subchorionic hemorrhage eh may spotting pa rin ako. Galing lang pala sa polyp.

Kaya kami nagdecide lumipat ng ob kasi first check up ko 8k binayaran kasama na mga meds. Next check up naka 5k. Parang holdap. Haha. 3 times lang yata ako nagpunta dun.

Hahaha ganyan din halos ob ko sis. 1,600 per consult with utz. Twice a month pa ang check up ko. Pero pagtungtong ko ng 28 weeks weekly 2,300 na kasi may bps na kasama. Lumipat ako ng ob at 29 weeks and 5 days sa accredited ob ng hmo namin ni hubby at super satisfied ako sa kanya. Utz with bps lang ang cash out ko which is 1,392 tapos covered na ng hmo yung consultation.
