Hello, first time ko lang magpost dito. We are planning to attend the upcoming bridal fairs. How true na makakadiscount ka talaga sa mga wedding suppliers? Meron kasi ako napagtanungan na supplier sa fb page, tataas daw yung rate nila vs sa current para mabawi yung joining fees sa bridal fair. Ayun, baka pwede niyo ako maenlighten. Thank you

From experience, marami rin talaga suppliers na kung hindi discounts ang binibigay e maraming freebies. What I did during my 1st bridal fair, kinuha ko yung rates nila for my wedding date before the fair, tapos saka ako nagcompare dun sa fair mismo to know kung good deal talaga ang nakukuha ko.

Overseas bride here and we have booked our flight to attend Sep9-10 bridal fair sa MOA. Do they usually publish the suppliers' list beforehand? Kasi we are planning to have the wedding in Antipolo and would like to book suppliers sa bandang duon to avoid OOT fees. Also, yung mga reception/wedding venues ba like mango farm, velada estate umaattend din sa mga bridal fairs? Thanks sa magrereply

Nag try ako mag register online sa Getting Married Bridal Fair pero lagi nag e-error. Mali daw format ng date. Lahat tnry ko slash, dash, complete words, no space. Ayaw. Give up na ko haha.

Try mo na lang email sila muna kung andun sila sa Sept bridal fair at kung available pa ang date mo since medyo malayo layo pa naman. Also, sino na nakapagtry ng online wedding fair by Weddings at Work? Same din ba yung inooffer nilang freebies compared dun sa mismong bridal fair sa mga mall?

Hi sissies! I am overseas bride-to-be based in Abu Dhabi. There's an ongoing bridal caravan in Dubai hosted by Cristine Ong Te. Kaso until today na lang yun so yung mga gusto magvisit open sila til 11pm (UAE time)

The event was fine though only few suppliers attended. For designers, there is michael Leyva, Hanna Kong, Veluz  and of course Francis Libiran. Photographers were Ruffa & Mike, Mayad,  Proud Rad (they are offering free engagement shoot when you book with them. Such a steal right? They were amongst my shortlisted suppliers for photo but we already booked Myio Okamoto just yesterday din 2hrs before I went to the fair. Huhuhu) For event stylist naman Gideon Hermosa, Teddy Manuel and Michael Ruiz were there. Ang babait nila mga sis! I already inquired Gideon and Teddy thru email but they were too expensive and way too out of budget for us. Hahaha! I already booked with Michael Ruiz as he is gave me a good deal 

I just want to share my experience na rin with one of the most sought after event stylists, Badang Rueda. He was extremely rude. Well baka sa akin lang. I went to him, we chit chatted for awhile, and he asked for our wedding deets, of course the main purpose in going to events like that is to ask for a quotation sa mga pegs natin. I showed him my peg and he immediately asked for my budget. I told him my max budget which is 300k and then sabi niya if I could go higher pa raw like 350k. So I said yes, if siya naman ang gagawa siguro 50k increment hindi na masakit or mabigat bitawan. But when I said yes i could go higher, he opened his mobile and biglang sabi may booking na raw siya on my wedding day. He even said na yung event nya that day is worth 2.1M with 1200 guests and may-ari daw ng Sterling and he cant afford to accomodate me!  Sana nung una pa lang while I was giving him the details, sinabi na agad niya na may booking siya. I felt insulted and belittled Siguro maliit sa kanya yung budget ko pero he could have been more nice kung unang una pa lang sinabi niya na hindi na siya available.

Ayun, I just want to vent out sissies tee hee! Mas okay pala if you meet your suppliers personally which is hard for an overseas bride like me.

Hi sis. Wow you booked michael ruiz. Thats so nice. Our coordinator gave us the list and prices na and mahal siya. I think konti lang nakapunta diya sa dubai caravan kasi meron din dto sa enduran. Nagkasabay almost ang bridal fair.
 If you guys want to attend bridal fairs i think you have to think kung your budget talaga kasi like i went to 2 bridal fairs na and some of the suppliers i want wala sila. So i asked one of my friends who's a wedding photog. He said that some suppliers choose the event kung san sila sasali.

Actually sis before the bridal caravan here in UAE, Miss Kutchie already gave us his quotation for our peg and mahal nga siya. Hindi pasok sa budget. But fortunately, he gave me discounts here and nakamura talaga ako around 150k Steal talaga sis! Konti nga lang din ang suppliers dito sis parang around 4 suppliers per category but okay naman they were all giving discounts and upgrades

H2B and I will be attending the Weddings & Beyond Bridal Fair this weekend! I am so looking forward to my very first fair! Hoping to book our HMU and P/V supplier there.
Any advice for a first-timer like me? See ya to those who would be going!
