Nice question. What would be the suggested Billing Rate that we should set given that we have just started?

@purple - already have mine. Kaso parang walang swak sa field of interest ko haha. I mean, the jobs that I can see doesn't fit my skillset (i think). Any suggestions on a good field to start with? Di naman ako mapili haha

naka pag sign up na ako the other day, but when I was adding my work history, nag hahang siya and hindi nasasave

anyway, paano malaman if legit and paying talaga yung mga employers?
may certain badge or rate ba kami na dapat tignan sa profile nila?
also ano yung maaadvise ninyo sa mga newbies? how much should our rate be para maka kuha agad ng work? kasi mostly yung dictated salary ng employer is yung pinaka mababa. ano ba pinaka mababa?  :-\

The best option to do here is to choose HOURLY RATE kasi dito sigurado kang babayaran ka niya directly to your account in Upwork.

Kung willing ka naman sa ressearch, data entry (one of the most competitive to apply), virtual assistant, or any other na pang call center na rin you can choose there.

To be honest kapag hourly rate ka nakakasipag magwork kahit tambakan ka ng trabaho mamomotivate ka kasi hinahabol mo yung oras at malalaman mo seswelduhin mo. Kapag Fixed price in my experience tinatamad ako mag-isip.

Wow good thing I found this thread. I'm planning to quit my job and work from home na lang para kasama mga bata.

I don't have HMO too pero hindi kase ako sakitin I plan to get yung Philcare na prepaid hospitalization card para just in case ma-ospital ako may card ako saka Philhealth na pwede gamitin

Hindi ka nila maquestion dyan but then I strongly suggest that you still better to be silent regarding that matter para at least kumikita ka pa rin.

^No worries about it same na same lang rin.

What type of job ba ang interested kang magwork?

Kailangan ata sila mismo may credit card.

^Nasa Pinas ka ba? Actually you can also use local banks if you want. Like BDO, BPI kasi wala naman nang fee yun.

Look for the note on their profile or job post na VERIFIED PAYMENT.
