Re: Christine Reyes - whoever decided to write "Christine's" statement in English should be fired!  Kahit na gustong bigyan ng benefit of the doubt si Christine, mas lalo siyang nawalan ng credibility with a statement na halatang hindi galeng sa ganya. Super natawa ako with the comment from one of our sis "sige nga, define privy!" LOL 

Mas lalong nagmukhang fake and dishonest si Christine and camp.
And ginawa pang estupido ni Christine & camp yung public by claiming na walang malisya si Christine by singing that particular song...Oh puleez, now they all really look like liars.

Parang I would have been more understanding pa if Christine owned up to it and said it was impulsive and stupid and sorry na lang....

Re Kris. Naku before I get too excited, celebrate and pop a bottle of champagne at the thought that we will finally never hear that super annoying voice EVER EVER again and listen to her wail about her miserable love life, all I have to remember is how many times she has promised this. She is addicted to attention, I doubt she will remain quiet for long 

Kris welcome to the real world in a few months when your brother and family are no longer in power and you will see for yourself what the networks, the industry bigwigs REALLY think of you and your "ahem"... talent. Hint: look at the SUPER dead career of the equally untalented Mikey Arroyo after his mother lost power.

I'm not sure Kris would reach that same level of "fame" kung hindi siya Aquino in the first place. I think she got her initial big breaks because of her famous family, yes it may have been Pre-Noynoy but she gained fame from being an Aquino, and at one point being the daughter of a president.

Would she have been as famous and sought after if she was a regular girl next door trying to break into showbiz? Sorry but I don't think Kris has either the looks or the natural talent to warrant the kind of attention the likes of ABS-CBN gave her.

And in my personal opinion, I have to respectfully disagree that she is a good host, based on skills. I think she is a lousy host because most of the time, she draws more attention to herself rather than on her guests.   

But certainly she and her shows got a lot of attention and support over the years, because of her connections and more importantly the mega backing of ABS CBN and companies that bought into her "fame". On her own, I doubt she would have gotten so far.

Just my opinion.

Agree ako sa lahat ng sinabi mo sis RichV. Naalala ko napanood ko yung Vizconde massacre na movie. Hirap na hirap ako sa acting ni Kristeta.  After a few years parang wala pa din nagbago nung panoorin ko yung mga horror movies nya.

Nako knowing Kris di yan makakatagal babalik at babalik din siya sa tv screen. Paano di mahi-high blood lagi kain ng kain ang topic sa kris tv! Kaya laki din ng tinaba ng kasama niya lagi na bading.. Hehe.

Yes, granted her Aquino name gave her the opportunity to enter showbiz but she will not have the staying power she had if not for her hosting talent. She was very good at her prime. This was during 2000-2013. Twenty years is 20 years.
Let's give the girl some credit.

She's always been narcisstic but she started to go downhill after her separation from James Yap. The last nail on the coffin was when she went crazy over Mayor Herbert. Kaloka si girl! Parang tumatanda ng paurong!

She must have felt this when her last two movies flopped. This was also evident in her hosting, walang gana.

^Agree ako syo, sis. Talent talaga ni Kris ang hosting. Bonus na rin yung pagiging Aquino nya kaya sya sumikat. Meron nga syang kwento dati na nung college student sya, napapalabas sya ng classroom ng prof nya dahil sa sobrang kadaldalan. Then sabi nya, "pero tingnan nyo naman ngayon, napapakinabangan ko ang kadaldalan ko." 

And aside from taking a break lang from showbiz, baka sasama si Kris sa election campaign ng Liberal Party. Two months na lang elections na. She and her siblings are very vocal na ikakampanya nila si Leny Robredo.

If you consider speaking in English fluently as a talent, then Kris Aquino is talented.

That trainwreck of an interview with Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Jamie Fox showed how 'great' she is as a host.

Why is Kris considered a talented host? Because her longevity or her 20 years of being a host is "proof" of her talent? Well Willie Revillame had a long career as a TV host, was at one point perhaps the MOST popular and influential TV host in the entire country, highest paid, with the most endorsements... so talented din ba siya? Rather than talent, I consider that good PACKAGING - making something that is mediocre look good.

In many ways pareho si Willie R and Kris, very good at marketing themselves, and with the backing of the most influential industry bigwigs they are able to gain popularity.

I look at Kris as a host and for me, she does the most basic thing wrong - which is to make the GUEST the focus of the interview, not herself.

Siguro you need to be a Kris fan to find that kind of self centered "me, me, me" interviewing style entertaining, I find it disrespectful, distracting and a major turn off.

For me, Kris Aquino is to hosting what Anne Curtis is to "singing".

The amount of viewers they draw makes them bankable to the advertisers, because, well advertisers wants viewers. RE: Kris. Sus, she's making a big deal out of this "goodbye showbiz" drama of hers. For all we know, after a year or a few months, nandyan na sya uli. Ilang beses na din sya nagpaalam na maglie-low sa showbiz. Wait and see, magbabalik din yan kasi di naman sya makakatiis na wala sya sa limelight.

I don't find Kris talented as a host, but she's definitely entertaining dahil sa kaartehan and kadaldalan nya. Sometimes I enjoy watching KrisTV (because of the places they visit), pero may moments talaga na mapapaisip na Hayz... it's all about her na naman. But she's definitely entertaining and not boring.

I do agree she has to take care of her health and spend time with her family/2 kids. Feeling ko din affected din sya, due to all the negative press sa kanya recently, it adds to her stress.

Parang wala naman nabanggit si kris na goodbye showbiz na talaga siya, indefinite rest lang siya because of her health. Reading between the lines sa ig posts niya may balak talaga siya bumalik though hindi siya nag-eexpect na hindi siya papalitan ng abs, in terms of talk shows siguro or yung standing niya sa network. I have a feeling na sa renewal ng contract niya hindi siya masaya sa offer ng channel 2. Nabasa ko 2 months ago na tatanggalin KrisTV and to be replaced with one where she shares it with Anthony Taberna. Iyong mga nangyari sa 2 directors nila probably made her decide na magpahinga temporarily.

Pwede rin mag-aaral ng government course tulad ng ginawa ni Vilma Santos and tatakbo sa eleksyon.

This is true. I really couldn't believe before that she has so many endorsements when I hate her as a host because, as some here pointed out, she tends to cut off her guests to talk more about herself. But when I worked with ad agencies and marketing peeps who were involved with some products she endorses, I learned that she actually sells. Apparently, the masses are addicted to her "controversial" way of hosting and it seems her narcissistic style resonates with a lot of Filipinos (speaks a lot about our culture, eh?). Ad agencies and products do their research naman and they won't continue getting you as an endorser if you don't really help their sales, no matter who your name is. Willie wasn't salable as an endorser, FYI.

Theory lang: pwede din political, especially since Abs-Cbn kilalang biased, mga pro Aquinos/Mar. So iwas na din siguro muna sa gulo while may elections. Pero sakto lang timing she needs to rest.

Kris is the latest model/endorser of kamiseta, and I just have to say, parang hindi masyado bagay sa kanya yung clothes. Walang dating. Not a hater, observation ko lang.
