sky_butterfly17, ilang hours ka ba nawawala sa bahay? Rule naman is 1-1.5oz per hour ang dapat na intake ni baby, male-lessen pa yan actually because your baby is 9 months na so he/she should be taking solid food na.

pwedeng-pwede talaga if gustohin mo sis. yung iba hand express or pump tapos ilagay sa fridge. Ask someone to train your baby na cupfeeding. if you're away cupfeed siya tapos pag-uwi mo direct latch si baby. congrats pala! when due mo? :)

Sa may 12, 2016 per our first ultrasound result nung 20th week ko.

Today, i'll start mix feeding my lo. nakaka-sad din pala. She's on her 13th month next week, happy na din ako at least as a working mom, I was able to exclusive breastfed my baby for 1 year. Ang goal ko pa naman before is 6 months lang happy na ko since wala akong friends or relatives na nag-ebf ng mga baby nila. Sad to say di na enough ang napu-pump ko sa office to meet her needs. I'll still try my best and baka somehow makahabol pa ulit ako and would not need to give fm.

Mga sis i need help.. First time mom kasi ako.. Nag exclusive bf ako for 1 month.. mahina din ang production ng milk ko kaya sabi ng pedia mag back up kami ng formula.. Mas mabigat na si baby compared before.. Now ang problem ko i have cough.. Okay lang ba if magbf ako even if i have cough? Im taking antibiotic and solmux din.. Aware naman doctor ko.. And bakit kaya pag napump ko na milk ang nasa bottle bihira or konti yung natatapon niya compared sa formula? 3 may work nako.. Tia!

Congratulations sis! 13months is a huge accomplishment. Here in Canada they recommend just straight whole milk once the baby turns 1 year old. No need to supplement with formula if you do not want to. Pwedeng whole milk when you are not home and then direct latch.

Try to change your bottle, baka hindi nya hiyang yung teat. Sa baby ko first we used avent classic, kaso madami nga sya natatapon. so i changed to regular neck then peristaltic teat, nahiyang siya walang tapon.
Yes pwede mag breastfeed you have cough pero about sa medicines you are taking please ask your OB kung pwede yun for breastfeeding.  You can also use mask para di mo maubuhan yung baby mo.

^ If okay naman supply mo I think no need na naman, tsaka mas nakaka-stimulate naman ng breast to produce more milk kapag nagla-latch si baby eh, so kung okay naman supply mo eh okay na yan. :)

Hi mommies, my son just turned 1 year old so 1 year na din ako nagpapa-breastfeed congrats sakin hehe  ;) Plan ko sana to wean him once nag 1 na sya but I don't see any sign na he's ready na to wean although nag-drop na frequency ng feeding nya but still he can't sleep without my breast.

Currently he's 22lbs and nape-pressure ako na "patabain" pa sya kasi lean sya tingnan and medyo worried din ako kasi humina sya sa solids and yun nga bumaba din frequency ng feeding nya plus malikot pa baka mangayayat. So my question is ano ba pwede ko best na ibigay as "milk supplement" sa kanya? I tried giving him FM pang snack lang kaya lang nag-constipate sya dun, ayaw naman nya ang fresh milk iba yata ang lasa? Almond milk, okay ba yun? And san usually nakakabili? Thank you mommies :)

^ sis kung di siya magana kumain, pwede mo siya ioffer ng food more frequent na small servings kesa yung big meals na 3 times a day..ganun din ako kay lo ko, 18mos pero di ko alam kung considered as ebf pa din kasi binibigyan ko siya ng almond milk pag meryenda..Never ko pa din natry FM or fresh milk (unless with cereals)..sa healthy options ako bumibili ng almond milk..minsan soy milk din pala :)

I just breastfed baby for less than a month kase humina milk ko and nag loose weight si baby kaya sabi ni pedia backup.
Is there a way to get my supply back? I still take malungay suppliment and eat masabaw but yun lang wala na ma pump mashado. Baby is 2months old.

^Sis, meron ka pa ba milk (as in nagstop ka na ba talaga magbreastfeed?)? I suggest you to seek help para sa proper latching if that is the problem, isa din i-lessen ang formula supplement. Breastfeeding is a demand and supply thing kaya kung nagnunurse si baby sayo, then your body will make more. Also, pumped output never really shows how much you have kasi babies empty your breasts best.

Spot on sis gielian!

And sis tif, if you need a Lactation Consultant, there's one in Providence Hospital. Parang may sorcery pag sya nagpapalatch sa baby ko (my son sleeps so well & so easily afterwards) when I was in the hospital. She showed me the ropes too and I feel lucky na naturuan nya ako maigi. Good Luck!

Breastfeeding my lo for a year now (hurray for that) and hopefully I will overcome his teething stage as he has now 5 teeth (2 upper 3 lower). Mejo nakakaintindi na si lo and pansin ko lately hindi na kami gaano nag aaway kasi di na niya hinihila boobies ko with his teeth. hehe.

Hello Mommies,

I'm already planning to buy baby stuff. Will actually purchase them on my 30th week which is a month away from now.

I plan to exclusively BF and I'm going to be a stay home mom as I have already resigned from work. I just wanna know if I still need to buy an electric pump (keen on buying Medela) and/or manual pump. 😀

What happens also if full and milk supply ko and ayaw pa naman mag feed ni baby?

Thank you mommies! 😀

Kelan kayo sis start gumamit ng breast pump. I'm due next month natatakot ako baka kulang milk ko that time because of stress and pagod after delivery. Pwede kaya yung magipon na ako early before delivery?

^if at home ka lang sis then actually tatamarin kang magpump because it is far easier to direct latch but it is good to have a pump na rin just in case may lakad ka na hindi pwede dalhin si baby so may maiiwan ka pa ring milk. Or if you want to save and gastusin sa iba ang pambili ng medela then learn how to hand express. Madali rin naman siya once you get the hang of it.
I hope for your breastfeeding success!

annkarenc, May 12, 2016 per ultrasound result noong 20th week. 28 weeks na this thursday. scheduled CAS this saturday. dun sa mga mommies who continued to work after maternity leave, successful pa rin ba kayo sa pagbreastfeed?
