Hi po just a tip, pero baka marami na rin po may alam, anyway, safety gears for babies like car seats have expiration, be sure to check when buying 2nd hand. I don't really understand why, but probably the materials, I believe na big companies like Graco have a testing facility for their mats so I guess that is why. You can find the expiration somewhere under the car seat naka emboss po sya sa plastic mismo. And lastly, make sure that 2nd hand car seats have not been into a car crash or something. Thanks!

^not planning to buy a used car seat. anway, even before buying the used Graco crib. i did my own research first before buying a used item and what baby items are safe to buy used.

per my research, hindi advisable to buy a used car seat. pero should you want to buy a used car seat, may mga tips din sa net on what to look out for, especially the expiration date.

^by the way, sobrang saya ko sa recent Grand Baby Fair, ang dami namin nabili ng husband ko for our baby. almost complete na, except for the car seat, stroller, binder/girdle (to be bought sa department store), breast pump (later pa ko bibili after i have established my supply), cooler box, ice packs and toiletries (i plan to use Human Heart Nature baby care products and detergents for my child). Naka 12k ako pero almost complete na. gustong gusto ko yung mga Carter's na onesies. Nakabili rin ako ng generic (non-branded) wearable blanket for only 150 *(compared sa Halo sleepsack). I got two sets of comforters and pillow sets for only 1,000, swaddle/receiving blankets, hooded towels, around 12 washcloths, 12 Enfant white gauze lampin, 12 colored Enfant gauze lampin, 3 pairs mittens, 3 caps, 6 pairs socks. Bumili rin ako ng 4 pieces na Pigeon bottles with peristaltic nipples. Ang mahal pero well-recommended kaya bumili ako kahit 4 lang muna kasi malaki yung discount. I also bought the Looney Tunes sterilizer+dryer for only 1,400. Bath tub for only 250, and bath net for only 175.

^good call on not yet buying the carseat and stroller. Me thinks no rush in buying these for new born. I think you have the saYa naman, this for me is better than those two for the meantime. 

Since im still on my maternity leave, crazy ako sa online shopping. I hate myself for being so weak to temptation. Lol! I recently bought stroller pads which can also be used in the car seat. Now i'm eyeing naman car organizer for baby stuff.

Me too! Enjoy sa last baby fair! Hoarded mga diapers, wipes, bottle brushes, fitted sheets, pillow cases, bumper pads, nga lang kasi complete na kami eh. LO is 8 mos na. There was a grand baby fair last year too but i was on bed restthat time, sadly yun mga big items pa ang hindi namin nabili ng big sale like crib, playpen, high chair, stroller and walker. Pero enjoy pa rin ako, naaliw ako parang ang sarap uli may new baby nagtitigin pa rin ako ng mga stoller and stuff kahit meron na hehe. And okay ang freebies too! Pinapila ko si hubby while I roam around. It's hard not to shop for ur baby talaga, i hardly shop na nga for myself eh super enjoy pag kay baby!

I was able to score a chicco high chair last baby fair from 10k, 7k na lang i did not buy na stuff na 20-50 pesos lang ang discount haha

Fionapple, i also bought a looney tune sterilizer with dryer but its 2.6k. Buti ka pa 1.4k.

^yung 2,600 yung unang inoffer sa akin na sterilizer.pero nakita ko may ibang mommy may hawak nung isa pang sterilizer na mas maliit ng konti than the 2,600 priced unit. So i asked one of the salesladies sa looney tunes booth kung anong difference nung 2 units? Sabi nya mas konti lang daw ang capacity nung 1.4k na unit pero sterilizer w/dryer din. So i said, mas gusto ko yung mas mura. Kasi di naman issue sa akin yung mas konti ang pwede ilagay na bottles.

^re baby gear like cribs, strollers and carseat, mahal din yung mga nandun. May mga nakita akong mas mura sa robinsons metro east. Also di naman kami nagmamadaling bumili ng stroller at car seat. Tapos yung crib naman, nakabili na nga ako ng Graco pack and play na second hand for only 1,300. Yung model niya hindi part ng recalled Graco units. Labhan lang namin ng husband ko. In good condition pa kasi walang punit or tagpi.

31 weeks today! This is our 3rd baby, pero we gave away most of our older kids' stuff. We weren't really planning on having a 3rd, so this was a pleasant surprise.

Was able to buy a nice (extra big) mothercare crib + uratex custom made mattress from my friend. Her baby didn't use it kasi the baby would cosleep sa bed nila and they had two other cribs just lying around the house. Same friend lent me rin the bassinet! Also got a good deal on britax rear facing stroller, carseat (that attaches to the stroller base), rocker/bouncer and bath tub (with stand).

Sa baby clothes, blankets and swaddles naman i bought online sa walmart/target/amazon - mostly carters onesies and sleepsuits, then i had a friend bring them all to manila so i was able to save on shipping fee, laking tulong din kasi the shipping within US was free. the onesies i got were mga 6-8USD for a set na.

For bottles, i will be breastfeeding exclusively kasi so i only got one 4oz avent bottle tapos i'll see nalang if baby will take it. Baka ayaw ni baby sayang lang if i get a set. I purchased Ardo calypso double breast pump from US and super happy with it. Mas quiet sya and lighter than spectra, and the suction is the same. Got breast milk storage bags and bottles na rin in case i want to start building a stash early. I still need to buy nursing cover, a new saya, bottle brush, sterilizer, diapers, wipes, cetaphil baby wash (or physiogel). Baka yun nalang yung items na lagay ko sa baby shower registry.

Anyone who knows where to buy the 3-in-1 Tinylove Rocker Napper sa Pinas?
I am based sa SG, 149sgd ang cost dito nun. But since we decided to deliver sa pinas, ang laki kasi ng packaging so we can't bring it.. Wondering if anyone knows where we can buy and how much?

^update on my shopping for baby stuff: last saturday, I bought 2 Bloom mattress protectors, isang tig 400 at isang tig 200, yung smaller size. tsaka isang zebra plush toy (may study na mas nakakatulong daw sa pagdevelop ng eyesight, intelligence at color recognition yung high contrast colors na toys--black, white and red.)

konti na lang ang kulang ko na "buy now":

binder, nipple cream, nursing bras,  nursing dress for going home from hospital, black and white crib mobile, HHN laundry detergent, HHN baby wash, HHN nappy cream

"buy later": girdle, ice packs, electric breast pump, milk storage bags and bottles,cooler box, hands free pumping bras, changing pad, cloth diapers (will use disposable muna para makafocus sa pag breastfeed)...May ilang cloth diapers na ako na niregalo sa akin nung baby shower. parang mga 4 shells yata and around 8 inserts. pero parang feeling ko need yata ng at least 24 pieces para hindi araw araw ang laba.

I initially wanted the tiny love rocker but when i was able to test it sa store.. oh my it wasnt realy rocking...very very minimal movement. Mga 80usd ata yan sa states.

so far, eto pa lang natatandaan ko. I suggest bili ka na rin ng alcohol, feeding bottle (if you think di ka makapag breastfeed all the time), wipes, cotton, baby oil, new born diaper.

I ordered boppy pillow online.  I'm just disappointed since there is no case, even a protective case sana.  When I searched for boppy pillow case, it's very expensive so I went to buy cloth na lang and nagpatahi ako ng boppy pillow case.
