Girl Talk has been extremely helpful to me. I got some of my suppliers here so check out the threads and look at the reviews. Also took the time to talk with my friends who got married recently so they can provide advice and refer a few suppliers.

I have just updated our excel today and mukhang 400k.
Was talking to the husband 2 days ago regarding the budget and he was shocked when I said na close to 400k na kami.  Sabi nya, sabi mo 250K lang? Bwahaha! Yan sinasabi ko sayo eh, magpaka hands on ka din pag may time. Oo ka lang kasi ng oo eh.

^ i can relate sis haha! 250k kami nagstart magbudget but nag end up to 600k including honeymoon. Kalurks diba.

Don't mind people making side comments about your budget. Mastress lang kayo lalo. Hindi namin ito naexperience before. Walang nakielam both sides. Maybe because they know whatever man icomment nila, wala din kami pakielam. lol

Hindi kami nanghingi kahit isang sentimo sa parents namin, literal kami lahat gumastos. Kaya wala silang macomment sa amin.

7 years ago yung kasal namin and we spent around 700K to 750K. No regrets. Ang important happy kayo and wala kayong utang.

It is YOUR wedding naman e and you deserve the best that you can afford so keber sa iba.

350k for 100 pax in makati area. so far, within budget kami. plus kasama na sa allocation na rin yung mga "unexpected" expenses so yay!

hi sis, eto yung wedding expenses namin. all our suppliers are booked in wedding fairs kaya dami naming discounts and freebies na nakuha. i did not list all our freebies below, yung mga notable lang

Bride's attire - 25,000
Groom's attire - 10,200
Entourage's attire - 3,250
Hair and makeup (couple & entourage) - 16,000

Hotel, Reception & Catering - 101,360
Prenup (entrance at Wildlife and snacks) - 1,100

REMAINING BUDGET: 44,840
Remaining Expenses: Processing of marriage papers, additional hotel room, transportation of couple, snacks before reception, my wedding shoes, crew meal on wedding day

Nako sana naaccount na namin lahat at wala nang unexpected expenses. Feel ko talaga may matitira sa budget namin! Weee!

Invitations are DIY
Wedding accessories are provided by my seamstress (pillow, arrhae, veil, etc.)
HMUA provided my prenup attire and props
Photo and video team provided our photobooth
Coordinator provided our host, honeymoon vacay and guests' transportation
Jewelry is expensive kasi platinum lang pwede kay partner (acidic kasi huhu)
Hotel provided cake, event styling and room accommodations
No souvenirs for guest (photobooth nalang sila hehe)
Not included sa gastos yung transpo to suppliers, wedding fair, etc. (although minimal lang sila since around the metro lang lahat)

yung excel tracker namin ayaw na tignan ni h2b kasi 250k lang ang plano, estimated is at 400k na. haha. sabi ko puro leeway and estimated, on non discounted rates, wag syang hater.

anyway, h2b is warming up na. alam nyang church na lang ang hinahabol namin and he's working on it na. i think nag work yung nag send ako ng PPT presentation about wedding preps kasi ginanahan na sya, sya na mismo nag take over sa church hunting.

^haha. gusto ko yang may PPT presentation ka sis. kinabog ang PDF file ko. hehe. gumawa kasi ako ng shortlisted churches na gusto ko talaga in PDF. so, yun pinresent ko sakanya. Kaso nabusy na kami for 2months+, church palang ang napagkasunduan namin. huhu.

on topic: may napili na akong format ng excel tracker kaso pag tinitignan ko, format palang nakakalula na. waaaaa.

^ At first nakakalula talaga ang excel file tracker lalu if start pa lang ng planning but kalagitanaan nakaka-aliw na sya lalu na kung may progress na. Best of luck sa mga nasa budget stage, it can be very overwhelming talaga lalu na at pamahal ng pamahal ang suppliers pero habang tumatagal din marami naman options na magagaling na di kamahalan! research lang talaga! :p

Di ko na na-update yung budgeting sheet namin after the wedding.

We agreed na we'll end on a high, di na namin masyado sinuri yung nagastos namin. Focus na lang kami sa nag enjoy kami and yung guests

^sis pretty_B mahirap kasi mag explain pag skype calls lang kami, di nya nakikita yung buong concept, timeline and halaga nung pag book and decide ng maaga. kumpleto ako mula rates ng simbahan at difference ng costs ng Manila at Tagaytay hanggang pie charts ng budget allocation at graphs ng inflation rates ng suppliers kaloka. haha. tapos yung theme din nilagay ko na para makapag isip din sya ng gusto nyang idea.

Hi sissies! Ours is 250k. Sa current estimate namin mukhang kaya naman, wag lang sana magkaproblem upon booking lahat ng suppliers, church and venue palang ang meron kami eh.
