^ Thanks! It's not a bad experience, save for having to run around from building to building but I'd take that over long lines any day.

Unfortunately, we're required to take the Family Planning seminar even if I told them our premarital counseling sessions at church already covered birth control, etc. So we had lunch at Kenny's and hopped over to SBC for coffee while killing time.

Tips for other couples applying at QC Hall: they don't require the original copies of your birth certificate and CENOMAR. They will ask to see your original cedula, though. (Ang dami kasing fixers sa labas!)

HAHAHA so was the pre-cana we attended. Actually i fell asleep so many times hehe di ko lang talaga trip these things and i have very little patience/ attention span. Buti nalang our city hall wont make us attend theirs na. Just think youre done!!!

mismo! in fact the facilitator spoke for about 30-45 minutes lang (supposedly 4hrs yung seminar) then after that, pinag salita na nya yung friend nya na nag eenganyo mag direct selling sa mga participants ng seminar.  Mas matagal pa yun kesa sa family planning seminar.  Then ayaw nya i-sign off yung certificate namin just because fiance wanted to have 6 kids  dapat daw ang ilagay namin sa application max of 3 lang    Can't believe we wasted our time for this! kakaloka lang

Required ba na kung san nakatira either the bride or groom, dun din magaapply ng marriage license? Lumipat kasi kami ng Pasig early this year pero mas comfortable kami sa Marikina e.

^I think as long as you have an old ID to show you live in Marikina ok lang. My fiance moved 8 years ago but he still has an ID with the old city

Finally fixing our requirements for church and city. I already have my baptismal and confirmation, and will get fiance's this week. Ordered our birth certificates and cenomars at SM this morning. We will get it in 14 working days. Not in a hurry naman.

I just have a question. Is the cedula different from barangay clearance? Are both needed in QC? Also, where and how do we get them?

^sis magkaiba cedula and brgy.clearance. cedula sa city hall na kami bumili. Brgy. Clearance sa brgy.namin kami kumuha both names pinalagay namin. Ask mo brgy.sa inyo kung ano requirements, samin hiningi lang ng clearance from the village where we live, di ko na tanda magkano binayad ko.

So of course, we need to get this from our own barangays, right? I can't get for him since he doesn't live in our barangay or is that allowed? Hahaha. Same with cedula, can I get for him in QC even if he lives in a different city? Also do you get cedula in the place where you work or where you live?

^sis sorry i cant remember na haha pero kumuha din husband ko sa barangay nya e and kumuha din ako sa barangay ko. Hindi ko tanda kung pareho namin pinasa. Kasi parang yung kumuha ko sakin pinalagay name ng husband ko eh.Foreigner ba fiance mo? Cedula sa city hall kami pareho kumuha kahit hindi taga don si husband ko pwede naman kasi sa kahit saam munisipyo yun.

Barangay certificate should be from your respective barangay.,
Yung cedula kahit anong city okay lang, basta within 6mons.

I guess different requirements for church and municipality just make sure to check so less hassle.

Pasig City ako. I think pretty hassle-free based on yannuh's post. We're already ready with the requirements, sana lang hindi madami tao. I filed a leave from work to get it. Going there in two days!! Waaahh this really is it! Next week leave naman ulit ako for canonical interview in Tagaytay. Sabay ocular narin sa booked preps venue namin for the entourage.

Para san ang cedula? Parang i dont recall needing to get this..

We will be attending the family planning seminar tomorrow and base on you experience girls medyo boring or terrible ah haha. I'm hoping mabilis lang yung seminar kasi baka makatulog lang ako kung boring.
