Anthony Bourdain's death, grabe, di ata ako makakarecover sa pagka-shock dito, sa lahat ng deaths caused by suicide, next to Robin Williams. He was such a character, yung akala mo buong buo pagkatao, napaka vocal ang strong ng stands, amazing lifestyle, artistic, sucessful and napaka productive, little do we know, battling with depression pala. It is indeed, an illness.

May he RIP.
The universe is trying to tell us something, napaka ironic na kung kelan ang daming means to communicate via social media (and the internet), mas detached tayo to one another, and nagiging cause for us to not notice the people around us, lahat naka tutok sa phones and laptops or gadgets, wala na halos time to look one another in the eye and have a meaningful conversation, puro chat, call, posts, and we think na ok yung tao na yun, muka naman sya happy and content dahil nakita natin na nasa resto in Japan eating ramen, or so. Or lahat in a rat race and pressured to be something or someone they are not. One will feel unfulfilled and a failure kasi si friend eh nakapagtravel na around the world, with a nice house and car whereas sya eh so-so lang 1 kahig 1 tuka pa din. I don't know, I just want to let this out, this is what I realize from these deaths. It could have been prevented kung mas strong ang support system, they won't feel "alone"or won't feel the need to die.

The people around them will notice if s/he is acting differently. Plus the hate, my goodness yung bashing and bullying, sobrang dali lang manakit nowadays, ilang click lang sa keyboards or phone, kaya mong i-ruin ang araw ng isang tao, and later on buong pagkatao nya including his/her morale.
I know it is an illness, it may or may not be cured by Science, pero iba pa din yung love, time, care, kindness that we receive from the people around us while suffering from this illness. Mental health is a serious matter.
