So I can't believe that I am sharing here my Tinder story.

I joined Tinder January 2014. When I was bored and curious, and already open to meet new people, after that crazy episode in my past love life. I got to match with a lot of men. And indeed my theory was real that 90% of men you'll going to be matched with in the app are just into hook-ups. If not hook-up, jerk. If not jerk, nonsense talker. To the point when I just used the app just to boost my self esteem to feel GGSS whenever i swipe left. HAHA!
Fast forward to June, I was matched with someone different. He sent me a chat, but he's too stiff. Parang di sya friendly. Apart from the fact that he looks badboy in his photos, which got me interested. His suplado persona made me feel curious and challenged. Para shang mushroom. speaks now then disappears and then appears again after a few days. Never sya naging naughty or dirty talker. Which made me interested in him. Our conversations got promoted from Tinder to Viber, then to Facebook. To our surprise that we had a lot of common friends and we used to belong to the same community -- Music. Both of us used to be in a band. He was a former bass player for a death metal-rock genre band, and I used to be a singer for a pop rock and an acoustic band. Completely different genre that's why chances of bumping with each other did not happen while we were both in the scene.
Conversations were upgraded to more sensible ones and then he decided to ask me out. We decided to hang out while watching a gig of a friend of mine. He enjoyed my friend's music, and that made it official to him to decide that he likes to court me. We went to the process of courtship and still, he never took advantage, inspite of us being known to each other by the means of a dating app. Never did I feel that he was one of the men I met from Tinder. We both uninstalled our Tinder app the moment he started courting me by the way.
I took my chances and gave the relationship a shot. We were happy. And fell in love naturally. It feels like Tinder was meant to happen to us.

We rarely fight, more happy now than ever, helped each other grow and improve but at the same time still in love. I never anticipated that our relationship will be that serious, that we were able to reach an anniversary. Fast forward to sooner than I thought, last December 3rd, he proposed for marriage. Then tinder matches, now engaged. After 3 months of engagement.. something happened that I really did not expect ever.... A second proposal, with a second engagement ring.
Fast forward to today, I still feel it was surreal, but it really feels like a fairy tale that my then most weird and strangest Tinder match, is the person I am spending the rest of my life with. And I am never complaining. I love it! <3
Thoughts on our love story made me realize, that there's always someone that serves as an exception to the rule.

basta magiingat lang kaka-swipe, tinder ladies!
