Kid is turning 6 in May, Prep pa lang sa coming SY. Ok lang ba?

I would still say that age does not matter, it would be the kid's emotional and intellectual readiness that would matter the most. I have a nephew na pinilit talaga nila ang school na mag grade 1 though di pasok sa cut off yung age. Pumayag ang school kasi the entrance exam was really good, passable talaga for Grade 1 however the preschool where the child went advd that the kid was not yet emotional ready kasi pagsabihan mo nga lang na di natapos yung work iiyak na tas naiihi pa pag napagalitan. Now, the parents insisted na I Grade 1 yung bata, the child was bullied in school kasi physically nga maliit cya (my 5 yo son was even bigger considering na tama lang size niya) tapos iyakin pa. Kawawa talaga.. what is 1 year kung magsusufer naman ang kid? Kids should enjoy school sana.
