yannuh i agree with you sis kasi ang food ang natatandaan ng tao hindi naman yung styling. although pwde mo makuha yung attention nila siguro in a matter of  minutes pero it all boils down sa good food. nandoon iyong comments. i decided to stick to my budget, may additional styling yung prenup stylist ko kinuha ko na lang kasi mura syang maningil. customized pa.

^Everyone really notices the food first =) But there are some people who really notice the styling, hhehe and I am one of them.

Styling is great to have but it isn't as important as the food. Simple styling/flowers do not equate to a bad wedding event. But bad food usually means unhappy guests!!! I get annoyed when I attend weddings na super nice the styling and gown, and booked top suppliers, but then scrimped on the food and alcohol. Just shows that they value what their wedding will look like in the photo and video, more that actually pleasing and entertaining their guests.

^ I agree! Food can make/ destroy the reception more than the styling and emcee. It's one way of saying thanks to your guests for making time to witness your union.

I don't get what we mean by scrimped on food. Anong klaseng caterer ba yung kinuha nila at hindi masarap yung food?

Ako kasi, I've tried food tasting sa mga sikat na caterers. Hizons, Tamayos, VS&F, Manila Catering, Josiah, Julio's, Juan Carlo. The food taste bland, commercialized, almost hindi masarap yung iba. Nakaka disapoint pa nga na ang mahal mahal tapos hindi naman masarap.

If we book these caterers, we didn't scimpt on food, tapos hindi rin masarap.

Naka try din ako ng food tasting sa mga hindi sikat na caterer, ayun, nandun yung masasarap na food. Hindi commercialized, hindi standard, masarap talaga, affordable pa.

^ Hi, sis! For me, I've attended a few occasions (not necessarily weddings) na parang mas pinagisipan yung styling compared to the food & how the whole menu adds up. Like either too many cream-based dishes or not much variety when it comes to the meat used.

Torn between Amante Fleurs or Full Blooms by Inah.. In terms of work based on photos I feel that Amante's creations are put together though hindi nagkakalayo and sa pricing hindi rin nagkakalayo ang quote nila. Though Full Blooms are more detailed and parang more organized kausap unlike Amante Fleurs as mentioned sa previous posts, thorough follow up is needed. What do you think sisses? If you were in my shoes, who would you choose?

t_r_i_c_i_a me too torn din ako! Kaya lang if willing lang talaga na habulin and make kulit amante hehe sana hindi ako magka white hair lol... Share ko lang i inquired sa mga 4 known coordinators and asked if they are ok to work wih him coz i am planning to get him as florist. Ang naget ko lang na vibe is ayaw nila or hindi sila masyado ma entertain when i was mentioning amante. One of the well known coord said after na she will check if they are still available on my wedding day lol. One coord said na hindi nya recommended lately lang si amante and suggested a diff florist kaya na sad talaga ako. Yung isang coord seenzoned ako lol! Opening ko kasi kung ok sya to work together to get amante lol!

Hello girls. Mag-ask lang ako if you know a supplier na nagooffer ng drapings alone? Kasi we rented Le Parc for our reception venue pero plain kasi yun place, event hall lang talaga. Thanks!

i inquire sa isang stylist na nahanap ko sa FB lang, di ko pa sya nabasa dito sa GT. For backdrop with hanging flowers, VIP table and 15 tall centerpieces for guest table. She quoted me 150k! Anong kalokohan to? Hahaha. Kaka stress talaga mag inquire sa event stylist. Taga pa more.

Kapag may ceiling treatment. Full drapings with crystals, hanging flowers and LED lights.

115k ang charge nya for the ceiling treatment. Ganun ba talaga kamahal??

robert's my stylist. his rates are the same as teddy manuel and jo claravall. I gave him a budget and he came up with a design. But I got him because I like what he proposed for the ceiling of my venue vs the other stylists given the same price range.  Not sure about gideon because I was never able to set an appt with gideon to get an personalized quotation although I got vague quotations via FB.

Anyway, Robert is OK except that lately he hasnt been replying to my messages and it is annoying me to death because his fees are not a joke. I hope this is temporary.He used to reply immediately.

kaso puro teaser photos lang yung uploads nya sa fb at ig. wala akong nakitang comments man lang ng real brides.
wala rin ako makitang reviews online.
since di ko pa sya nameimeet may apprehensions ako about sending DPs
it will really help kung may makakapag attest man lang na totoong event stylist tong kausap ko at hindi scam. hehe
